We Are His Masterpiece

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.  [Ephesians 2:10]
Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it." (Jeremiah 18:3-4)

All over this world, people spend millions of dollars on all kinds of art work. What makes a piece of art work a masterpiece, or something that people would pay millions on dollars for? It's takes a master to make a masterpiece. The best in, what ever is being made, has to be made by someone who takes loving care in their work. That is how our Lord is with us as He molds us and makes us in what we ought to be! Did you ever stop to think how, as Christians, we are in the Master's hand? He is the potter and we are the clay. He molds us and makes us into what He wants us to be.  We are priceless in His hands. We can trust his Craftsmanship to mold us into a masterpiece for the who world to see! Remember the old hymn of the church: Have Thy Own Way Lord.

In most of all the churches today we have leaders of denominations and preachers who try to mold or form The Lord in what they want him to be. The problem with all that is the Lord is the potter and He does the molding. We are molded and made after His divine will and not that of any religious origination. When we look at the church world today, we can see were many people just do not want to be made to feel uncomfortable or told about the sins in their live. They only go to church to be entertained  and not to hear about sin or what is wrong in their life. The preachers in these churches preach a luke warm, feel-good, do not offend the people type of messages that really does not help the people in the church. They are still clay that has never met the potter. Clay that has never been molded for the Master's use!

Sermons are preached that have almost no mention at all of God’s pending judgment on this world, our sinful nature, punishment for sin, repentance, the old rugged cross, end time prophecy, or the clear message of salvation. The messages that are preached, are for the most part, watered down and easy to swallow.  Most of the music, in the church today consists of music that sounds like it is coming from a rock and roll band. How is that worship? Along with name changes, symbols of the church such as crosses, hymnals and good Bible translations are beginning to disappear from our churches or we have a Koran next to them. Many churches today have become mega churches and big businesses. Today when we look at some of the churches it seems, almost like, that there is so much of the world in the church and so much of the church in the world that, many times, it’s difficult to tell the difference. Churches today will do anything to fill the seats. They all want the mega church status and the money that goes with it. No sinner will ever be molded after the Lord's will in these types of churches.

In today's majority of church services, the sinner will be in church for about an hour and then leave without a clue as to the reason why they were there or why they need to be saved. The whole gospel message must be clearly preached at every chance.  It must be preached under the Anointing, because it is the anointing that breaks the yoke of bondage! That is the only thing that really matters. How can a sinner and a person in need of the Lord ever be molded by the Lord if they never hear the whole truth? The sinner not only needs to hear he can be saved, but also what he is being saved from. They must except Him as their Savior and let Him be the potter and them be the clay!

But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand.
