God Bless America

I wonder , as we celebrate the forth of July, how many people really
stop and
think about what they are really celebrating. It is more than just a day
at the beach, watching fireworks, the barbecue, and the gathering of friends.
It is something that goes way beyond that. It is something that should go to the
very heart and soul of all Americans. As I write this my heart and soul cry
out to God for all His blessings on this nation and its rich history.

The date, July 4, 1776, was not only a historic evet It was also the birth,
not just the birth of a nation, but an ideal, a way of life, and it is a ideal
that people around the world have draw a bead on and most have wanted
ever since. That idea and principle was found on God and His Word from
the very foundation of this country!

This ideal has become one of surpassing all other forms of government and
base everything by the Laws of God. The distinctive thing about this ideal
include self-government, liberty, and the pursuit of true freedom. It is true,
these things are not just common to America, but our founding fathers laid
out these great virtues in a way that no other group of people, before or after them has ever done, or, has since. Our fore fathers were Godly men
who trusted and obeyed the laws of God.

Since the birth of this great nation, generation after generation of Americans
has been called to stand up as a beacon of light to the world, to fight evil and spread justice. We’ve had to fight evil and injustice around the world, as we
did in World War I and World War II, and at home, also. America has always
been, since it became a nation, a light and hope to the rest of the world.

The ideal America stands for has been and always should be one of a free
people with the right to govern their own selfs. The Idea America has stood
for from one generation to another, has shined so brightly that people from
all across the face of the earth and around the world have struggled and
even died to come to America’s shores in the hope of finding freedom and opportunity, such as we have, and they could not find anywhere else.

The founding fathers, of our country has paid a great price to give us, a
Declaration of Independence, a Constitution, and a Bill of Rights. Brave
young men have and continue to paid the price, for that, with their blood
and the giving of their lives on the battles fields both past and present.

We, as, Americans, need to remember and keep the legacy that our founding fathers gave to us and that is to throw off the bonds of political correctness
and stand up, without fear for the values that made America that shining
city on a hill to the whole world.

It is time to throw political correctness out the door and once again grab
Biblical Correctness as the right way to live. It has work for over two hundred years. It was good enough for our fathers and our mothers and it should be
for the rest of us! It is time for all true Americans to stand together united
as one voice against the evils such as the radical Islam terrorist, not as
African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Chinese-Americans,
Italian-Americans, but as Americans. United we stand, Divided we fall.

This country has been blessed by God, so I say this, to whom much is given
much is required. We must remember if we lose our freedom to tyrants,
to people who want to change our form of government, to people that call
evil good and good evil, or our lives to terrorists all other causes, the we
have will become nothing, because they will not matter. Let us as Christians
and Americans go forth today into our churches and our nation with a passion, with determination to defend our country, the Holy Bible, and the values that made this country great, so we may be worthy of walking in our founding
fathers’ footsteps, To be called God's Children, and be deserving of the
honor of serving God and our nation and the values this nation was found
on for our children, and their children's children. God bless The United States
 of America.

Bill:

Just thought you would like to read this:

"The America Flag: A Christian Symbol"

Back in 1986-87, I was living in Ellensburg, Washington. I was attending a small Pentecostal church called Bethel Gospel Church. Some friends at the church invited me to a church conference in Seattle, so I went along.

We were staying at some friends' place in the Seattle area when there was a knock on the door. This older lady walked in and she talked with our friends for a little. Then she turned to me and said that the Lord told her to come and give something to me. I was pleasantly surprised to hear this. She gave me a piece of paper and she had written some things down for me to read.

On the piece of paper was written Psalm 60: 4: "Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah." She also wrote that there are thirteen stripes on the flag: seven red stripes and six white stripes. Thirteen stands for rebellion--in this case rebellion against Satanic oppression (King George III and British mis-management of the Colonies, breaking away from the world system of governance). Seven is God's number; the color red is the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Six is man's number; the color white stands for man's sins washed white as snow by the Blood of the Lamb. The fifty stars represent Pentecost or the power of the Holy Ghost.

I have always remembered that lady and what she wrote on that piece of paper. Whenever I see the American flag (I think it is the most beautiful flag on the planet--I also like the British flag and the Israeli flag), I don't see another flag waving in the breeze, I see the Stars and Stripes of Jesus Christ.

"Quotes from Thomas Jefferson"

This morning I got an email from a friend of mine, Susie, from Cedarville, California. These are some quotes from Thomas Jefferson. It looks like Jefferson is describing the United States in 2010:

"When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe."

"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."

"It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world."

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."

"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government."

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

"To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical."

Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property--until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

The motto on New Hampshire license plates reads: "Live Free or Die." I wish we all had New Hampshire license plates.
