The most important man in the history, of the world, is Jesus Christ. By His birth, life death and resurrection, the Son of God, provided salvation for all who believe in him. He has showed us how to live good Christian lives and to have happy productive lives in His service and how to love our fellow man.
Soon another man will appear on the world scene as a great savior. He will be a master of public speaking and personal persuasion. This person will assume and take over leadership of most of the world and will have great influence over all the world. He will bring a false peace and a false prosperity to a chaotic world, the world as we now know it. Because most of the world is blind they will accept this impostor, this fraud, and fake! The world will except a counterfeit. This man will be the Antichrist. Many a person will fall for his lies and take his mark. We, as Christians, must not be deceived.
The Bible gives a lot of information about The Antichrist to those who want to read. In the timetable of prophecy, that was prepared by God and is found in his Holy Word, it is pretty much safe to assume that the Antichrist is alive today. As this man {the Antichrist} grows in power he will draw people from all over the world and they will pledge allegiance to him. They will see pie in the sky with this man. But this man will turn against Christ and thousands if not millions will be killed. Things will come to an end at the battle of Armageddon where he will be defeated by our Lord and Savior. It is because of this {the Antichrist's fierce opposition to Christ} that he will be seen as the second most important man in the world's history.
We must remember this, the Antichrist is a man and his power and his influence will be given to him by Satan. Do not be deceived, he is not a incarnation of the devil and he is not some demon. He is not a spirit. He is a flesh and blood man. All the teachings through out the Bible about this man is true and will come to past. A lot of Bible scholars, who are deep into God's word, believe that this man is in the world today and is waiting to start his rein of terror. It will be as the world has never seen before.
For those, of us, that are bought with a price {the precious Blood of Jesus} we will not have to worry about all this because we know and we have the promise that just before this happens Jesus, Himself shall descend from heaven and with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ will rise shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up in the air: and we will be with the Lord for ever. We can take comfort in these words from our true and faithful Lord. He is coming soon!
