they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama !

America? the beautiful,

or so you used to be.

Land of the Pilgrims' pride;

I'm glad they'll never see.

Babies piled in dumpster's,

Abortion on demand,

Oh, sweet land of liberty;

your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly

poisoned by cocaine

choosing to indulge their lusts,

when God has said abstain

From sea to shining sea,

our Nation turns away

From the teaching of God's love

and a need to always pray

We've kept God in our

temples, how callous we have grown.

When earth is but His footstool,

and Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government

that's rotting at the core,

Appointing Godless Judges;

who throw reason out the door,

Too soft to place a killer

in a well deserved tomb,

But brave enough to kill a baby

before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not

before His judgment comes?

The Falling Away

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;"         (2 Thess:2:3)

 For the past couple of months on my way to church I noticed a small Methodist Church being torn down not far from where I go to church. The church was an old country church, but was used up to a year ago. Each Sunday as I pass the church a little more of the building has gone, leaving only the shell and soon it will be all gone. This Sunday As I passed the church the thought come to me. This is the same thing, spiritually thinking, that is happening to all  the churches across our land. They are being spiritually tour down to where there is only a shell called the church. Sad but true. In years past the churches were more than just a shell. It was a place that a person could hear the truth. The kind of truth that would set a sinner free, a place were heavy burdens were unshackled and all types of sickness were healed. There were prayer meetings in peoples home and Bible studies where you dug deeper in God's Word and wanted to be ever so much closer to Him. Last but not least, let us remember those "Old Brush Arbors". 

Being a churchgoer and a follower of Jesus Christ for the most of my 69 years on this earth I can see big changes in our churches and the people who attend these churches. The "Pure Raw Word" of God is not taught anymore for fear of losing the large attendance. We have preachers on TV and even behind the pulpit that will not call sin what it is, When asked if homosexuality is sin they will not give a straight answer. When asked if there is another way to heaven and eternal life besides Jesus, they will not give a straight answer. What ever happened to the “fire and brimstone preachers. The preachers, who in love, told a person exactly how it was. In other words the truth.

Across America the crosses are being taken off churches and the churches are given a new name. "Campus" Some churches are now having services with Muslims and their Islamic faith. This should not be because a true Muslim will deny Jesus Christ as being the Son of God. It is very important  to note that the very first sign, and  the most important one, Jesus gave in response to His disciples' question about the end of time was religious deception: "take heed that no man deceive you." It is significant, too, that His revelation of this primary sign was put forth as a warning: "take heed," or beware. He repeated this sign two more times to show how import it was and the nature of the coming deception: it would involve false Christs, false prophets, and false signs and wonders. Moreover, His repeating of the word "many" four times, which to me indicates that this deception will not be hidden but will be a worldwide reality deceiving many and that sure is happening today across our great land and the world.

As followers of Christ, we can see the  persistent downward spiral of  the church. We can remember  the Biblical prophecy that states that the latter days would be marked by a collapse of faith (falling away), morality and ethics. Another prophecy coming to fulfillment before our eyes. The Word of God clearly teaches that in the very Last Days, one of the main signs of the times to look for will be the great falling away of those who claim to be Christians. Jesus clearly teaches that in the very Last Days, the lost will become more and more blinded from the hearing of Biblical truth, because many who claim to be God’s anointed will not be preaching the whole truth!

Jesus commands all those who claim to be a Christian to come out from the world and trust in what the Bible says. Sorry to say, there are too many people that claim to be born-again and yet they are being more conformed to the pattern of this world every day. 

More churches are closing their doors every day in America while more and more mosques are being built. We are told that America is no longer a Christian nation and the Koran is being quoted more and more from the White House while the Bible is criticized.  We are truly in the last days and to my Christian friends I leave you with this- “LOOK UP YOUR REDEMPTION DRAWS NIGH”. 

Gay Marriage

I happen to be reading parts of a old Newsweek Magazine and after reading Lisa Miller's article on Mutual Joy, { I have posted the web site below } I was shocked at her for writing such a article and even more shocked that the Newsweek would allow it to be published. I have only one question to ask, "What turnip truck did she fall off of?" She is using parts Of the Bible to make a case for Homosexuals and to try to prove her point which is, "same sex marriages are okay." Ms Miller used Scriptures out of the Bible to try to prove her point. The scriptures that she uses do not even deal with the issue she is talking about and trying to justify. The Bible in the Old Testament, in several places, clearly says that Homosexuality and Lesbianism is sin. She must have not read the Story of Sodom. Why did God destroy this city? It was the end result of the people of Sodom's reprobate minds. This is how bad that God hates the sins of Homosexuals and Lesbians. Notice that I said He hates the sin, not the person! Read what the Book Of Romans Chapter one has to say about this topic. My thoughts are this, " Any nation, including the United States, that justifies homosexuality and Lesbianism, as a excepted life style, is a country in its final stages of moral corruption." I'm sorry Ms Miller, but you are trying to justify this sin and at the same time trying to discredit The Bible and Christians who live by, believe in, and honor God's Word. Remember this, any true Christian does not hate the homosexual or lesbian, it is that terrible sin that the Christian hates. The Christian does not have a agenda as Ms Miller is trying to stress in her article, but only God's Holy Word in their hearts that homosexuality is a sin and is wrong. I do not want to discredit Ms Miller's professional talent, but when she is writing an article in a area such as this she needs to do some major research or get into a good Bible believing Church, because she is just not getting it or else she just wants to make some liberal brownie points. Ms Miller, God made the world for Adam and Eve to reproduce after their own kind, for that is what He commanded in His word, not for the sin, wickedness, and pleasure (Mutual Joy) of Adam and Steve. With all due respect, with all your education you cannot see this?

Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection?

I never thought about this before.
The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over
The face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes.
The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly
Folded, and was placed separate from the grave clothes.
 
Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the
Tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.
She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved.
She said, 'They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I
Don't know where they have put him!'
 
Peter and the  other disciple ran to the tomb to see..
The other disciple outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw

the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in.
Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside..
He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying to the side.
 
Was that important? Absolutely!
Is it really significant?

In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to
Understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded
Napkin had to do with the Master and Servant; every Jewish boy knew this tradition.
 
 
When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it
Was exactly the way the master wanted it..
 
 
The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight,

until the master had finished eating. The  servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished.
 
Now if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his
Fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and
Toss it onto the table.
 
The servant would then know to clear the table.
For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, 'I'm done'.
 
But if the master got up from the table,
And folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate,
The servant would not dare touch the table,
 
Because..........
 
The folded napkin meant, 'I'm coming back!'

MY PASSION – Writing For The Lord

In Palms 119 the person who wrote this Psalm talks about an affliction. What the affliction was I do not know. We all have or have had afflictions in our life. Mine was not from sinning but straying from what God wanted me to do in my life. This caused many of things in my life, divorce, financial loss, heath problems, as well as other things. All this because I served my own interest and did what I wanted to do. Without actually sinning I strayed from God and His perfect will for me. It is sort of like sowing and reaping.

When a person gets to this point in their life they must realize they have two choices, two ways to go. A person can either continue doing what we want to do, which we can see real fast is not working or you can do as I did take stock in what is wrong and then fix it. I choose to fix my problem.

We might not sin, we can go to church every time the door is open, but we can still be taking the wrong path. For years and I mean years I knew that there was a calling on my life and I would not listen I preferred the other road because I felt that no one would listen to me because of being divorced. I once taught Sunday school, taught Bible study, and I loved it. I was doing the Lord’s work but after divorce some Christians look at you a different way. They see you in a different light. And that light can be devastating.

Paul wrote many letters to the church (The Epistles’’) and they had (and still do) a great effect on man’s life today. He had a thorn in the flesh, an affliction, but he still kept writing, expressing himself and sharing God’s love to a lost world of sinners. He was a great man of God. There are all sorts of afflictions in this world. They can be hardships, suffering, pain, misfortune, burdens, difficulties, and many other things. We can allow those afflictions to either break us or to lift us up. The choice is ours to make. If we let it our afflictions can bring us closer to God. My prayer is; Draw me nearer to thee oh Lord.

Since I have stopped teaching Sunday school and Bible study I decided to start a blog and write for the Lord. Writing for me is a way to express and show my love for God and to share with others the road that I walk with the Lord. It can be a lonesome road at times when there are no comments to my post just like they are ignored. I just have to realize that I’m doing what I can for the Lord and it is His will that counts.

One Day At A Time Sweet Jesus

As I was lying in my hospital bed, after having a heart attack, I started to take stock in myself, what was happening to me, and what direction I was headed to in this life. Sometimes we as Christians must take stock in our lives and see where we are at in our daily walk. We must put God in control and not ourselves.

The most important thing I had face up to in my spiritual life is thanking God for this day and rejoicing in the fact that God has given me another day to live for Him and Do His blessed will. We all have human frailties. I do, you do, and so does everyone else. I have come to realize after my last hospital and being coded (dying three times) I or no one else on this earth has a guarantee that tomorrow will ever come. Emotionally, however, because I’m human I have fears and anxieties that arise within me and I am tempted to look for tomorrow to be a better day. Relief will come tomorrow. But does it? Our only help comes from the Lord who made the heavens and earth. We are sustained by the Lord.

I have come to the conclusion when I think that help comes tomorrow I am yielding to an unhealthy way spiritually speaking. When a person fails to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and they forfeit the peace they have in Christ and the joy that always comes from abiding in Christ one day at a time. As Christians we cannot rightly think that tomorrow or the next day will take care of our needs. Only Jesus Christ can satisfy our needs for He is the one whole holds our hand and knows the future for we know who holds our hand.

When I turn everything over to God at the beginning of everyday, immersing myself in God’s love I have the strength to enjoy the day because the Lord’s love is hidden in my heart. He gives me strength. Only a Christian can understand that. Every day is a new opportunity to experience fullness of life, to draw ourselves closer to our maker and the one who cares for us. We must fix our eyes not on what we can see, but what we cannot see what we cannot see. For what we see is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Cor. 4:18) When we look past our visible circumstances, we See God's Eternal Kingdom for we know who holds tomorrow.

He Touched Me!

After the events of the past week there is no doubt in my mind who holds my future in the palms of His hand. I say that because truly this week God has had me in the palm of his hand. I went to the hospital for a breathing treatment (I have Asthma) and was not there but a few minutes when I had a heart attack and coded three times (Died three times in a row) and was brought back. When I awoke from my sleep the doctor was standing over me and said welcome back. The doctor said it was a miracle that you are here with us because you have coded three times. The doctor said it right, it was a miracle. A miracle that I was in the right place at the right time and with the right people, but behind all this was the fact that the Lord I serve was in the room with me and he also guided me to the hospital. He guided the doctors and nurses as they tried to keep me alive.

While I was at the hospital one of my many visitors was a man who was filled with the Holy Ghost and I could feel his presents as he entered the room and as he prayed for me I felt a healing touch go through my body and I instantly felt better and they let me go home the next day. I’m not saying that the nurses and doctors did not help because if I said that I would be lying. What I am saying is this. The Lord sent this man and when he prayed for me the Lord touched me and did a work in my body. Praise be to His wonderful name! I feel wonderful in my body.

For some time now (many years) I have felt like the devil and his demons has done everything in their power to come against me. My children, grand children, my dad, and other members of my family he has attacked because he knows they are close to my heart. I have faced financial loss, been through more than one divorce, and just about everything else the devil could through up against me. As I was in the hospital they took my dad to the hospital with heart failure, but my dear friends I want you know the anchor holds! I once new a black pastor who was in a nursing home and I would see him walking down the hall and when I asked him how he was doing his answer was always the same. “Brother Patchett I’m going to keep on keeping on” and by God’s grace, my friends, that is exactly what I’m going to do; KEEP ON KEEPIMG ON!

What Can Take Away Our Sins?

What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh! Precious is the flow that makes me white as snow; No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. For my pardon, this I see, Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
For my cleansing this my plea, Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Nothing can for sin atone, Nothing but the blood of Jesus; Naught of good that I have done, Nothing but the blood of Jesus. This is all my hope and peace,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus; This is all my righteousness, Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Now by this, I’ll overcome—Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
Now by this, I’ll reach my home—Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Glory! Glory! This I sing—nothing but the blood of Jesus, All my praise for this I bring—

To be a follower of Jesus the Christ makes me so proud and secure. I will be the first to tell anybody that I was saved by that precious blood of Jesus. I was lost and undone without God or His Son and God saved my soul. It was by The Blood that was shed on the old rugged cross that made the difference in my life. I said all that to say this, I recently read an article in a local newspaper in which a man wrote this; “Any person that teaches they have the exclusive path to God and all non-believers will suffer eternal damnation is wrong.” Any person that would make such a statement is a person who does not read and rightly divide the word of God if he reads it at all. Like so many other people he is lost and knows not God. Before I was saved I always tried to be good. I did what was right, I kept the Ten Commandments to the best of my ability, I went to church, and I did all the ordinance of the church, I was baptized in water, took communion, but all this did not save me even though we should do these things. My name was on the church books but it was not in the Book that my Lord kept. I was like thousands of other people who thought they were right but like them, I was not. I was lost without God or His Son! There are other people who believe their denomination will save them. Some believe their good works will save them, some believe that keeping the ordinances of the church will save them. But the sad fact is you can be baptized in water all you want, but that will not save you. It is a good testimony but it will not save you. Taking communion will not save you. Church ordinances will not save you. Praying to a dead person such as Mary, the mother of Jesus, or a dead saint will not save you because they were in need of a savior too. The fact is they are dead. There is only one mediator between God and man and that mediator is Christ Jesus. When I get to heaven I want to see Jesus and then I want to see these other people who were obedient to our God. But praying to these people is wrong and they cannot save you. Jesus said that no man comes to the father but by Him. How much more plainer can it get? Allah cannot save you. Buddha cannot save you. Mother Nature cannot save you, Mary, the mother of Jesus, cannot save you or any other dead saint. It is what Jesus did on the cross. What can take your sins away? It is nothing but the blood of Jesus. When a person searches the scriptures and rightly divides the word of God they will see: What can wash away my sins? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus! Oh precious is that flow that makes me white as snow!

And He Pitched His Tent

We can read in our Bible of two men, both were righteous. One was Abraham and the other was Lot, who was Abraham’s nephew. They were also very rich men because God had blessed therm. They became so wealthy that they had to separate because of disputes and quarreling. In other words there was contention between the two households.  Abraham gave Lot the first choice of which way to go. Lot had much in his favor. He had riches and he was a righteous man, but the most important, he was blessed with Godly relatives. When a person is blessed with Godly relatives he is truly blessed.  Just like Lot we have to make choices.

Lot separated himself from Abraham and pitched his tent toward Sodom. Lot’s decision was made purely for carnal reasons rather than for spiritual reasons. Lot was making a choice that day. That choice was for personal gain. Like some people today, including some Christians, the greed for more wealth over took him and he set his eyes toward Sodom. Some Christians, in today’s world, have set their sight toward Sodom.

There is nothing wrong with Christian people being blessed by wealth but we should never take our eyes off of our spiritual values. With Lot Sodom was a good place to raise cattle and that was all he saw. As we all know Sodom lacked in spiritual values. It was sure not a good place to raise his family. Like Lot a lot of Christians today are more interested in the wealth and the money than they are the spiritual things, which is a bad mistake. Whenever a Christian puts his spiritual life on the back burner they are headed for trouble. Lot was thinking of paradise but found Hell!

The spiritual values of Lot were gone. He pitched his tent toward Sodom and then in another chapter we read that he was living in Sodom. He was having fellowship with those ungodly people and not only that his family was also lost for spiritual values. He had daughters that married ungodly men of Sodom. Lot’s Wife loved the things of Sodom and looked back. We all know what happen to her. Then Lot’s other daughters had sex with him and became pregnant. All this because Lot pitched his tent in the wrong direction. What a terrible high cost Lot paid for his decision to pitch his tent toward Sodom and it is a tragic example for all Christians to heed!

As For My House

O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. (Habakkuk 3:2)

Habakkuk knew that God was going to discipline the people of Judah for their sins and he also knew it was not going to be a good experience. The people turned from God and they were about to reap what they sowed. Habakkuk did not ask for the discipline to be removed but instead he asked for mercy and help from the Lord. He interceded for the people. He knew that they had to reap what they sowed but he prayed for God to have mercy. What a great man of God! What love that he had in his heart for the sinful people of that time!

Just as Habakkuk knew that God was going to discipline His people in that day, as Christians living in America in today’s world, we must know and realize that God will do the same in this age also. America will reap what she has sown. America as a whole cannot condone abortions or homosexuality as a life style and expect God to turn His head. America has turned her back on the One that made her a truly great nation and a leader of the free world. We have removed God from our schools, our court rooms, and from every part of our society. We have homosexuals behind some of the pulpits in our churches, we have homosexuals being married in our churches, and also joining our churches as members. Sin is not being preached anymore.

Do not think that nothing is going to happen or judgment from God will not come because it will. All through the Bible judgment came to countries that rebelled against God. America is no different.

As Habakkuk pleaded in his day in his day for the Lord to revive His work so should we plead and ask for Him to revive His work in our nation and in our people. Our nation needs God to survive. God’s judgment is coming on America soon because her sins are mounting up. Those of us that pray must intercede for God’s mercy on our nation and ask for our country to be restored. The answer is a simple one. It is the same as it was thousands of years ago. “

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray , and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV)

Famine, war, disobedience, plagues, and sickness are coming to America and she had better wake up.

I will soon reach my sixty eighth birthday and I have never seen America in the shape that it is in. What was sin 50 years ago and hid in the closets and bedroom of sinners is now in the open and called another life style.

The Cross and the meaning behind it is lost to most Americans. They live in a world without God and they will soon pay the price. Political Correctness is damning our country.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom , neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail , and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength (Habakkuk 3: 17-18)

When I See The Blood

 

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye [are]: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy [you], when I smite the land of Egypt.

Without a doubt this has to be one of the most single over looked verses in the whole Bible, but one of the most important scripture in the whole Bible. It was not the self worthiness of the Hebrews, it was their faith in that blood. God did not say “when I see you, or, when I see your good works”, or “When I see how much money you have”, or when I see you being baptized in water or “When I see how important you are” nor did He say, “when I see where you go to church”, but He said “When I see the blood” 

Has the blood being applied to the door post of your heart? Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow? Are you washed in the blood of the lamb? Applying the Blood of Christ to your life is a very important matter just as it was for the Hebrews when they were in Egypt. The blood applied to the door post meant that the Hebrew’s faith and their trust were in the blood of that Lamb. The blood that was applied then, was meant to be a token of the ONE to come, a symbol of the one who would redeem mankind by the shedding of His life Blood. The Hebrews in that day were facing many hardships (as we are today) by the hands of the Egyptians. You do not have to read between the lines to see the hunger, hardship, sickness, and the poor quality of life that the Hebrews (God’s Children) were facing, and just the plain brutality of their Egyptian masters. The Hebrews had a hard life. But deliverance came! It was when they applied the blood.

It did not matter if the house was new, old, large, or small. The blood had to be applied to the door post. It did not matter how far they could trace their lineage back or if it was perfect, or they went to the synagogue often, or what religious ceremonies they took part in. All that mattered was applying that blood. The Hebrews may have not known much or understood of what was taken place, but this one thing they did know, if they were to be safe that night, the blood had to applied and that was all that mattered. The Blood of the lamb and the word of the Lord formed the foundation of the Hebrews peace and safety that night. All that were under the cover of that blood were made safe, just as it is now for all that are saved and under the cover of the precious blood of Jesus.

This story takes us to the very heart and true meaning of Christianity. It is the story and true meaning of the cross. We, as Christians, must see our full redemption in the blood of Jesus because our full redemption rest in that precious Blood. Our simple forgiveness of sin rest on that. We either trust it or we do not trust it.

If our nation wants deliverance, from the evil that has come upon it, then it should take a page out of the history that is found here. We must look to Jesus. The one who died on Calvary, long ago, and shed His Blood that we might be saved. We must apply the blood of Christ to our hearts and to the door post all across America, in our homes, schools, government buildings, our churches, because it is nothing but the blood of Jesus that can save us. What can wash away the sins of this nation? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus!
Here is how you, this nation, and I can be safe and secure with all that alarms us. We can read in Revelations 12:11 this: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” We overcome Satan by the blood of the lamb! The blood on the door post was evidence of the Hebrews faith in that they were commanded to do it and they did it without question. To most people this would be a laugh, a joke, a fairy tail, But to a servant of God it means everything. That is the mindset of most people today. We can read in 1 Cor. 1:18 This: For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

There were nine other plagues that befell Egypt and yet the Hebrews were still held captive by the Egyptians . Why was the last plague any different? It was different because it struck at the very heart of the Egyptian empire. You might ask how does all this tie into our present day problems that we have in this country and our salvation? We have had, in the last few years great floods that killed thousands and destroyed thousands of homes. Remember the Gulf Coast? We have had terrorist attacks on our cities that have killed thousands, we are experiencing a great recession that some are even calling a depression, earthquakes on the west coast, and many other disasters that have never been as bad, there is a very high unemployment rate, no work, people going hungry, but yet this country is still rebellious and rejects God. This is in no way a “Dooms Day” thought, but it is a warning to be ready. Soon there will be things that will strike at the very heart of this country. Make sure that you have the Precious Blood of the Lamb applied to your heart.

What ever the plague may be it will come and it may not take the first born as in Moses time but it will be just as bad and devastating. The only remedy is the “shed blood of the lamb of God”, His Son. It is the only remedy for sin. It is that the shed blood of Christ that gives perfect peace, divine righteousness, purges the conscience, and gives us our right and our title to receive all the joys, and glories of heaven. What a great feeling. What a great God.

You can believe it or not, but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. It was good enough for my mother and father, uncles and aunts and it is good enough for me. What can wash away my sins (and yours) nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Bible Prophecy

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)

...'But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:37-39)

A person could ask what it was like in the days of Noah and all he would have to do is look around and see the same things are going on in the world today. Just look around and see for yourself. Wickedness is everywhere! Any true follower of Jesus Christ can truly see we are living in the time which our Lord talked and prophesied about. A time when the world would be in the same state as it was in the time of Noah. Soon the true followers Of Christ will be taken up out of this world and we will be saved from what is to come. Just as Noah found grace in the eyes of God so shall true believers find grace in the eyes of God.

The world for the most part has turned their backs on God and soon will reap the benefits of that decision. God will give everyone a chance to turn to Him with all their hearts, but if they choose to ignore the promptings of the Holy Spirit and the warnings found in God's Word, then His spirit will be withdrawn and how true will the verse become that says ... 'He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.' (Revelation 22:11) People need to know that once the door to God’s mercy is closed, they who are holy will remain holy, and they who are filthy will remain filthy. How a tree falls so shall it lay.

Today, we find the majority of people in the world choosing the 'broad way' that leads to destruction, because the way to eternal life is too narrow for them. They say that you don't need to keep God's Commandments. The president of the United States said in a speech we are no longer a Christian nation and also in the same speech said some of the Bible is not for today. That is the first mistake because God changes not and forever His word is settled in Heaven. What was good for America room her beginning suddenly is no longer wanted. God have mercy on the people in America and turn them from their sinful ways.

Some leaders will tell you that we can worship God any way we like. They say that it is ok to like the things of this world. They will tell you that we need to include people from different faiths. We have Christians and Muslims worshiping in the same church and say they are worshipping the same god. Not So ! They will tell you that it is ok for homosexuals to take part in and lead church worship. Abortion (murder) has run ramped with millions of unborn babies being killed in the mother’s womb every year. Government leaders and many preachers from behind the pulpit say many things that are clearly contrary to the Word of God. Why is this? It is because these people walk after the flesh rather than the Spirit. Most people in today’s world have closed their hearts to the pleading and guiding of the Holy Spirit and they are heading for destruction. The continual indulgence in sin that existed in Noah's day exists today and even worse. Most people in the United States depend on their government to provide everything for them and some people even call the president “The messiah”. They have believed a lie and will be damned if there is no repentance. We need to look to God from whom our help comes from.

People who lived in Noah’s day disregarded the warnings from Noah and went on in their sinful lives as if nothing was going to happen. This is the same condition that we find in this world today. God's true people (the followers of Jesus Christ) around the world are forewarning and telling the rest of this world that the Day of Judgment is coming, and that all people should turn to God, repent and obey God by keeping His commandments. The majority of people are ignoring the warning signs, just like in the days of Noah. Most people are too blinded by the pleasures of this world to be able to read the signs of the time and to take heed God’s warning.

Are the professing Christians in this world studying Bible prophecy? Are the ministers behind the pulpits teaching prophecy? The answer is for the most part is no. Very few Christians are interested in Bible prophecy, and very few are searching the scriptures daily to find out the truth. Many are deceived into thinking that God's grace covers their living in sin. They will be in for a surprise.

Let us remember this, only 8 people were saved in the days of Noah, and Jesus said that only few will be saved in the end ......'Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.' Matthew 7:14

Oh I want to see Him, to look upon His face, There to live to live forever with the one who saved me by His grace!

Destroyed From Within

In the 1960′s the leader of the soviet Union, Nikita Kruchev, said,“Russia does not have to destroy America with missiles; America will be destroy from within.” Maybe he knew something that we should have known. This was an evil man who was the leader of an evil country, but what he said was correct. He might have been looking at it in a different way than this article is about put forth but his statement was 100 percent correct.
America has the mightiest army in the world, but is still on a fast downward spiral and the answer to this problem is not a mighty army or a mighty navy or is it political. Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats have the answer. The deceiver in the White House does not have the answer although many people see him as their savior. The answer to America’s problems is spiritual. The people of America need to turn back to God and follow his laws and commandments.
Engraved on the wall of the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C. are these words by our third president: “God who gave us life gave us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be secure when we have removed a conviction that these liberties are the gift of God? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that his justice cannot sleep forever.” If America does not turn back to God, then I fear that judgment is certainly coming. People will reap what they sow.
In past generations the family unit, was and still are to this day the building blocks of this great country. Years ago Biblical values were taught in the home and when the church doors were open they went as a family. The school systems recognized God by prayer and Bible reading before the start of classes. Most of this generation of Americans and the family unit of today do not know God. In fact they know nothing about God. God has been taken out of the schools and has been replaced by violence and people ask; “If there is a God why does he allow all the violence in schools?” The answer is Mary’s Lamb is not allowed in school anymore.
We have leaders in congress that have never been to church or even cracked a Bible let along knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. We have a president in the White House that claims to be a Christian but his actions say otherwise and that is not judging. (You shall know them by their fruits) America is turning her back on God. God’s laws that Americans have upheld and observed for generations are being thrown to the curb by a new generation that profess God, but of a truth know him not. A person who passes laws Okaying abortions, and recognizing homosexuals as a different life style does know God, because in God’s eyes both are sin. Wow to them that call good evil and evil good!
The loss of our freedom is less than a generation away. The very next generation will be the generation that knows not God at all. In my opinion the coming of Jesus and the rapture of the church (the true saints of God) is at the door. Even so come Lord Jesus!

I was sitting here thinking about my life in the past feeling sad, blue, and down in the dumps when I heard Jimmy Swaggard sing “The Anchor Holds” and what a blessing that was for me to hear that song. It gave me much comfort.
I was born in the year 1946. The old ship that I have been sailing on, upon the seas of life, is by the grace of God still sailing. The Lord has never faltered or failed me. I give God all the Glory for that. During my life time I have gone through many trails, heart aches, dangers, toils, and snares. During my journey I have realized that I was not alone. And all I can do is just sail on until my journey comes to its end. When that journey is over I will see Jesus and I will step onto that Heavenly shore to receive my eternal reward. Until that happens the Anchor still holds! I never knew where that old ship would take me and I still don’t know where the old ship will take me, but I know where that ship will end up in the end because the anchor still holds!
All through my life I have been tossed around on the sea of life. I have always had hardships and at times not a very pleasant life. One minute the seas of my life would be as smooth as a glass and the very next minute, the waves of this life would roll, the winds of adversity, hardships, and difficulty would blow, and it always seemed that I would lose control. Some people may say that they are the master of their own destiny but just like me they are not. Jesus is the Master of the sea. We do not have control over the storms that come our way in this life. During my life time I have come to realize that completely, but I have also come to realize that the Anchor still holds.
I have been sick many times in my life, I have had a heart attack, I have a stent in my heart, I have been in car accidents, I have lost two loving grandmothers, a mother, and face the fact that my 87 year old father might not be here on this earth much longer, but the anchor still holds. I have been through many heart aches and disappointments in my life, but the anchor still holds. I have been through marriages that were in God’s eyes to last till death do us part but ended in hurtful disappointment. I have always wanted a home, but only had a house, but the Anchor still holds.
It took me years to finally realize that no matter what I do on this earth it will not keep me from facing the storms of life that will surely come my way. Nothing in this world is certain except for the uncertainty of what is coming next. Only God knows what is coming next.
I’m glad that I have found an anchor for my ship called life. It is an Anchor that I can place all of my trust in, and one that I can rely upon, to keep me safe in the stormy seas of my life. That anchor is none other than Jesus Christ, the Rock of all ages. I know that anchor will always hold.
Through my life my anchor has not been in the soft sand, the easy life, or the things of this world, nor has it been attached to a false hope of security or any earthly person. My Anchor is steadfast; it is fixed firmly and securely in the Rock of Ages, the Lord Jesus Christ, who never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. My life is anchored on the end and attached to something that will never move, never change and never let go. He is always there with his hand out stretched, because the Anchor still holds.
I know that even as a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ I will encounter the storms of life. It is not a question of if they will come, but rather when they come. That is a given fact. I have lost jobs, faced a divorce more than once, and many of my love ones have died leaving me hurt. One day there will be no more stormy seas for me to sail because the Anchor still holds.

The Truth Of The Matter

And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. (Genesis 16:12)
This verse of Scripture describes the Arab people to a tee. It could have not been said any better. It is perfectly said. So if you are not a reader of God’s Word read and see for yourself the truth about the Arabs. The descendants of Ishmael (The Arabs) cannot get along with anyone in the world today. I’m speaking of the Arab nations as whole, not individual persons of the Arab race. They have not gotten along with anybody since Biblical times and they cannot even get along among themselves in today’s world. It is a plain fact that they will be fighting with other nations of the world and between their selves until Jesus comes back to this world to set things in their rightful order.
When that day comes there will be no more acts of terrorism by these people, no more suicide bombings, beheadings, violence, mass murders, no more 911’s, or any other evil thing in the name of their god because the one true God will reign for evermore. There will be no more 911’s , no more Christians killed, no more churches burned, and no more will there be any tax paid to the Arabs in those Arab countries just because you are a Christian.
For those of you that do not believe the words from the Bible then you can research it with all the tools available to you on the computer and history books. In the end of your research you will find that the Word of God (as always) is correct.
It amazes me that people will not believe the word of God but will listen to every other person that comes along with a theory of why the Muslims are doing what they are doing.
I have always been a person who studied the Bible, and world history. When the events of September 11 attacks happened, all the things that I had read and studied about the Middle Ages and the crusades suddenly became very relevant as I put what happen into a perspective view because both are related and go hand in hand.
Some people think that 911 happen because the Islamic world just had a grievance against the West, but the real truth is 911 and the present violence in our world today is mostly caused by the Muslims, and has its roots in the Middle East Crusades. You have to understand history and the evil that takes place to understand what is happening in today’s world.
So what is the truth about the Crusades? Some people are still trying to figure that out. What is there to figure out? So much can already be said with accurate certainty. For starters, the Crusades defensive wars fought by Christian countries. These wars were a direct response to Muslim aggression, or in other words an attempt to turn back or defend against Muslim conquests of Christian countries. Is not that the same thing that that is happening today? Some people will try to explain it away but it is the truth!
Christians in the eleventh century were not suspicious radicals or extremist (The same is being said today), because the Muslims really were wanting to destroyed and conquer the Christian nations. Some Muslims can be peaceful, but the truth is Islam was born in war and it grew the same way. From the time of Mohammed, the means of Muslim expansion and growth was always the sword. The Muslim’s and their religion divides the world into two groups, the Abode of Islam and the Abode of War. Christianity, and for that matter any other non-Muslim religion—has no abode. Christians and Jews can be tolerated within a Muslim state under Muslim rule. But, in traditional Islam, Christian and Jewish states must be destroyed and their lands conquered. That has been going on since biblical days and is still going on.
We must understand the crusaders and how the Crusades started. It was not a power hungry pope as some people think and write about, but the truth is it was the reactions and the response to more than four centuries of conquests in which Muslims had already captured two-thirds of the Christian world as it was then. At some point, Christianity as a faith and a culture had to defend itself and their Christian belief or be conquered by Islam. The Crusades at that time was that defense. Sad to say, but pending the return of our Savior there might be yet another Crusade. Will that Crusade bring the return of the Savior?

IT’S JESUS: All Other Is Sinking Sand!

Do you want to know what is wrong with America? The answer is simple. A blind man can see it easily! America has turned their collective backs on God. America has become a depraved nation and for the most part with depraved leaders. The people have become immoral, unjust, corrupt, evil, wicked, and degenerate in all their thinking and their actions. From my youth up there was one thing that I was always taught in the home, in the school, in church, and in the public in general America was a Christian nation. How far this nation has come down through the years of my life is almost unbelievable to me. It’s almost like anything goes.
The American people have become immoral and wrong in their thinking. What was a nation of “In God We Trust” is now a nation of “In the government we trust.” Some even go so far as to call our president the messiah. I’m talking about a government and a president who makes the killing of unborn babies legal and the government that gives homosexuals special rights, when in fact both are sins in God’s eyes. America has become a nation of calling bad good and good bad. When a nation has laws to protect the killing of whales and another law that allows the murder of millions of unborn babies something is wrong. The people are depraved in their thinking. Instead of depending on the one who created heaven and earth depend on the government for their daily needs.
When Christian churches in America which were once full of the spirit of God, allow the Muslims who worship Allah to worship beside them in church and have the Muslim Karan beside the Holy Bible in the pew racks this nation and her people are in trouble. Some churches are taking the cross down from their steeple and calling their church a campus instead of church. Why? Something is wrong when church leaders allow a rock group with all their seductive and suggestive songs to perform at God’s house thinking that is the way to get the youth in church when it used to be the preaching of the anointed word of God that did the work. We need to lift Jesus higher and the Holy Spirit will do the drawing. It is the preaching of the cross that is the answer. We have a man in the White House that makes fun of the Bible while quoting from the Koran and stops the national day of prayer but allows Muslims to pray on the White house lawn. He also made the statement that America is no longer a Christian nation. We have homosexuals in congress and some who see an unborn child as “just a blob of nothing”. What happen to the Godly leaders in this country? They say that they believe in God, but let me say this; the devil, according to the scriptures, also believes in God.
America as a nation is becoming so politically correct instead of becoming more biblical correct that our nation is being destroyed, lost without God or His Son. No longer do people say Merry Christmas but opt for saying happy holidays so certain people will not be offended and Christmas is no longer for the most part celebrated as Christ’s birthday but just a happy holiday.
When I was in school before the day even started the class had prayer and Bible reading. We each took turns reading scriptures when it was our day to it. There was always a Bible on the teacher's desk. So what has happened? We no longer have the Lamb of God or those other Godly things in our schools so what were they replaced by? They were replaced by sex education, condoms, birth control pills, and a doctrine that tells our children it is normal and okay for Adam to marry Steve. It is just a different lifestyle. In schools years ago the greatest bad thing was chewing gum in class or smoking in the bathrooms. Now there is violence with no end in our schools with police patrolling the halls to guarantee security for the children. People ask when violence happens in our school where God is. The answer to that is “The Lamb” is not allowed in school anymore. You will have chaos, darkness, evil, and sin without the Lamb of God.
What is the bottom line to all this? It is the family unit. How we raise our kids, what we teach them in the home. We do not need a village to raise our kids as some in the government say; we just need Godly mothers and fathers. If our children at an early age are not taught about Jesus Christ then they will know not him when they get older and that’s what is happening to our country right now. The American people are reaping what they have sown. We have people that are in our government who know not God because they were never taught about Him. We need fathers (a male) and mothers (a female) to start bringing up their children in the way they should go and when they get older and on their own they will use the wisdom that they received in the home when they were raised, The wisdom to govern this nation and to be right in God’s eyes. There was a reason why God said in his Word to; “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) and there is also a reason why God told the Israelites always repeat and tell the meaning of the judgments, testimonies, and statues to their children in (Exodus 6:20-25)
Just like the Hebrews told their children what great things God has done for them, Americans need to tell their children what great things the Lord has done for America over the past two hundred years. To bring all this about we need a move of God, a revival that starts with you and me, we need a revival in our churches and all across this great land. We might not have to sit in sackcloth and ashes, but it might be a good idea to bow on bended knees and plead with our God, with true tears of repentance, to save our nation and to forgive us of our many sins. Even come Lord Jesus!

He’s Coming Soon

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Matthew 24:6.

We read in the Bible where Jesus narrates and warns of the last days of this age and how it would be filled with wars and rumors of wars and that is happening on a greater scale in this world today as never before. No one can dispute Jesus’ words because it is truly coming to past right before our eyes. More and more unstable Middle East countries are gaining nuclear power and the knowledge to use it to destroy other people. There can be no doubt, not for one second, with anybody that one or more of these nations “evil leaders” will use their nuclear power to end all life as we know it.

Jesus laid out for His disciples some of the specifics and facts on how certain events would lead up to the last days. One of these events was wars and rumors of war. Years ago wars and the very rumors of wars was something that people would hear or read about but think nothing about it because they thought the wars were a world away. Most people, in today’s world, think of these rumors of war itself as nothing really to be disturbed about and that is because they are blind and cannot see. Many years ago it was just about impossible to hear or read of the current conditions on a worldwide scale as we do today. But in today’s world we hear about it as fast as a person can blink their eye, on a daily base and at once, not a week after it happens.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Matthew 24:7- 8). Jesus tells His disciples that there are other signs to watch for that would occur before His return to earth. All of us has witnessed and seen the very signs Jesus spoke of for quite a long time now but we can all see that they are increasing and enlarging in the frequency and intensity of each new event. Some Christians say that we are long overdue for God’s Word’s to be fulfilled. I agree.

Every day brings about more fears as to which of this worlds evil leaders will push that well-known button, and launch their nukes for a first strike. How much longer before the end? When will that long awaited day be? Christian friends, be on notice, the end is in sight. To be sure, everything is winding down for that day of deliverance. Even though we see signs that indicate nukes will be launched in the near future there are many other events Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24 of which people would become acutely aware of during the last few years on planet earth. Watch!

Here’s some news for the people who say things will get better in the Middle East. Better times aren’t going to happen anywhere in the world including the Middle East until Jesus returns. That is a fact. This world is only going to experience further tendencies towards corruption and depravity. This world is in a process and is steadfast moving from order to disorder, in other word chaos. Since the introduction of sin into the world and the subsequent curse and the fall of man, the enemy of mankind (Satan) has been hard at work guaranteeing that evil and the sins of man runs its full course. This world is becoming more evil, depraved and lawless with every passing day. What was once good is now bad and what was once bad is now good. Yes we are living in a upside down evil world were sin is running ramped more everyday.

All the warnings which Jesus gave to His disciples in Matthew chapter 24 are coming about very quickly now. The nations of this world for the most part (and that includes America) are run by men who are deceitful and have evil hearts. The plain fact is they are lost and undone without God or His Son. They are the product of Satan and his demons.

Men have been going to war to conquer their fellow man for thousands of years. We can read this in the Bible. But in these end times we’re facing, many nations that are being run by men with very evil hearts, warped minds, men who have no sense of right or wrong, and who are controlled by demons. These evil men have the idea they can rule over the whole world, but in the end they will destroy the earth. Wickedness and evil abound in this sin tossed world that we live in and, of a truth there’s no hiding wickedness or an evil heart which is determined on destroying others.

We can clearly see that from nations such as North Korea, Syria, Iran and that is only three of the never ending list. The three that control and dominate the headlines these days are Syria, Korea and Iran because they are run by men that are controlled by Satan. North Korea wants to destroy the United States and Iran wants to destroy Israel and the US. Syria hates Israel. Two of them have or soon will have the nuclear means to do it. And both nations are run by men who are psychotic (nut cases) and demon processed. Will one of these psychotic and evil men go to the extreme limit and launch a nuclear strike that will set this world on fire? The Christian people of this world already know that it is just a matter of time. Even so come Lord Jesus!

Here in the US the man who claims the title of commander in chief (not capitalized because it’s his claim not the claim for a lot of Americans) is currently scaling back on our military to make our enemies happy. Who can understand his way of thinking or his tactics? We have had years of mostly peaceful existence with all those who would like to see us either destroyed or conquered because of our strength. But now, according to our leader in the name of peace, we will drop our guard for that of a greater united world in other words a one world government. All the while North Korea and Iran are arming themselves as your commander in chief (not mine) disarms our military and even wants to disarm the private citizens.

Our other enemies, such as Russia and China, are also arming themselves to the max. So we drop our weapons, raise our hands high in the air, and give up in the name of peace? And that will stop our enemies from destroying us or invading our shores and placing us under their control? That scenario is so ridiculous and absurd, but watch out! You can bet our enemies are laughing not only at that idea, but also at our commander in chief. What Mr.. Obama apparently does not know is that there will be no peace in this world until the prince of peace comes. This episode of sin, deceit, and corruption in Americas history could be just be the thing that destroys America. But that really isn’t what this article is all about.

The fact is, and the Word of God proves it, there will be wars. There will be evil men taking advantage of good people whenever and wherever possible. Everything that is now coming to pass in this world was prophesied in the Bible thousands of years ago. Read the BOOK! All this evil that we see in the world today is one hundred percent Biblical and it is God’s Word. If our present leader has his way and is successful in his attempts at “change”, as he calls it, then America will most likely cease to be an influence in world and spreading the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. If we continue to allow Obama to have his way it will happen. The Gospel could soon become very infrequent and erratic. There will be a famine, not only in this country but the whole world, for the Word of God.

Just seeing this with our very own eyes and knowing in our hearts that everything God said would happen in the last days is coming true makes the Christian more of a believer in his God. Major prophecies that are found in the Bible are coming true. No need to sit around worrying about who is running America or about some evil dictator, who is set on helping Armageddon to get here. Let everyone of us that are called by God’s Name stand firm and faithful in our faith while we continue to put out the Gospel of Christ to a lost and dying world, for as long as we can, as we await and look for Jesus’ soon return for His Church. Soon and very soon we will see the King.

THE CHRISTIAN – Under Pressure

a messenger came to Job and said, "The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them, and the Sabeans attacked and took them. They also slew the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you. While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them, and I alone have escaped to tell you." While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "The Chaldeans formed three bands and made a raid on the camels and took them and slew the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you. While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother's house, and behold, a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young people and they died, and I alone have escaped to tell you. Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head, and he fell to the ground and worshiped. (Job 1:14-20)

I recently read an article about being under pressure and as I read that article I began to wonder how many things in this world that has the warning, “WARNING UNDER PRESSURE” Those three words caught my attention and stayed with me, in my mind, for the past few days. Those words started me to thinking because they pretty much, for me, sum up, the condition and circumstances that is going on in so many lives of Christian people in this world today. Some of God’s people in the Bible, like Job, are living under extreme pressure and are just about to explode. They do not know if they should turn to the left or right. Satan has them to the point of losing control of their very being and mind. I have seen it so many times.

The pressures, and the tragedies of life in this present sin tossed world’s environment are very damaging and they are destroying God’s people. They are living under pressure, wondering just how much more they can take. We all have been there. It just seems sometimes that life is one big problem after another. It has happened to us all one time or the other, being under extreme pressure. One problem, after another problem and it goes on and on. And the truly sad part about the whole thing is people are trying to figure out, how to handle what they just cannot handle without God’s help. They need to put their problems in God’s hands. The one who controls heaven and the earth.

If you read and study God’s Word then sooner or later you will come across the book of Job and read about the problems of Job. What a truly amazing story full of meaning for today’s Christian. Now there was a man who had major problems. Job had more come against him in just one day than most people could handle in a lifetime, no matter how righteously and Godly he tried to live. This was because Satan came against him. Not only did Satan want to destroy all that Job had he would have killed him if God would have allowed it. Although Job was a righteous man Satan tried to destroy him and to rip apart his life just like he tries to do to you and me, because the devil walks among us the same as he did in Job’s day.

The word of the Lord tells us, that Satan goes about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. He did it in Job’s day and he is doing it now. This present world and the people in it are under a lot of pressure. There is strife, struggles, and violence, no morals, no rules, and there sure is no accountability anymore. What will the Christian do, when trouble comes their way? What will they do, when trouble, distress, and suffering comes out of nowhere for no obvious or clear reason.
The Word of God tells us, that Job was a perfect and an upright man. He was a man that feared God and he had no part whatsoever with evil,
but trouble still came his way. The scripture tells us, that Job believed in God and he prayed everyday but trouble still came to his house. He lost his flocks, he lost his servants, and he lost his children. All this happened in just one day. His wife told him to curse God and die. What would happen if your day or my day started like that.
How would we handle the things it is impossible for us to handle?
What will you do, when Satan and his demons comes looking for you and with him and his demons comes trouble, misery, and disappointment, or even death. What will you do when he comes looking for you? In most cases people will try to take care of things on their own when they should be looking for God for help.

We need to know where the trouble comes from; it comes from the devil, [Battles are always fought and won in the spiritual realm] but help come the Lord Jesus Christ. Persecution comes from the devil, but victory comes from our Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.

In just one day Job went from prosperity to poverty, from riches to rags, from popularity to obscurity. In one day, he lost his fortune, and he lost his fame. Not in a lifetime, but in one day. Job did not blame anyone else for his problems; instead he fell down on his knees and worshipped the one who created heaven and earth. He said the Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord.

Whatever situations that is in your life. Whatever the battle is whatever you are fighting against remember this, Jesus paid the price for you on Calvary’s Cross. Do not let the problems of this world get you down. Stay anchored in Jesus.

The Pure Raw Word

I have set in church many years and heard my father preach his sermons that he so painstakingly prepares. As I think back there was a sentence that he used in one of his sermons that keeps coming to my mind lately. He said that "it takes the pure raw word of God to save the sinner, You cannot sugar coat the word of God!" As I sit and think about that statement I thought how very true that statement was.
America has gone from being a Christian nation to a nation without God. Sometimes as I read from the prophets in The Old Testament it is almost like it is talking about today's world. The same woes and warnings that were put out to the nation of Israel back then could also be put out in America today. Israel started out as a nation that served God and then there came a generation that did not know God. Is not that the same way it is in America today?
America is for the most part on a downward spiral and is spinning out of control fast. America has gone from being a Christian nation, with Christian leaders, that believed in and lived by God's law to a godless nation. Because of this some Americans wonder what is happening to this great nation.
America is on a slippery slope. Years ago mothers and fathers accompanied their children to church, then they just sent their children to church, and now they do not even send them to church. Sunday use to be a holy day, but now it is just like any other day for most Americans. The family unit (the building blocks of America) is just about gone. Most homes anymore have just one parent and anybody knows that a child needs (and the Bible speaks of) a mother and a father. What ever happen to the "Family that prays together stays together. I thank God for my mother and father, and also my two Grandmothers who never slacked in their duty to show me the right way.
America was a country that for the most part governed by God's laws. Abortion was against the law and never hardly ever heard of. Now babies can be aborted (murdered) in the mother's womb and it is legal. Young girls as young as 12 years old can now get the morning after pill without the parents' consent. Condoms are passed out by the government freely in the schools. The word of God plainly teaches against all forms of fornication but the government by their doings and laws are condoning it for its citizens even as young as 12 years old.
This country once looked on with disgrace the act of sodomy. If you were a homosexual or lesbian you hide it in the closet and keep it from everybody. God called it sin and so did most Americans and now the government promotes it by giving them special rights, and allowing them to even get married. Nature itself even tells a person that it is wrong. But yet we have an American president (Obama) who recently called a well known sports player and congratulated him for making it known that he is a homosexual. What is wrong with this picture?
Not only has Obama said that parts of the Bible are not for today, but has on numerous occasions mad fun of certain scriptures while he is always quoting words from the Koran. He needs to know that God said that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. It is a shame that we have a leader that comes so close to blasphemy.
But lets not stop there. We also have a problem with churches and their pastors also condoning these things. We have preachers who will marry homosexuals and churches that will add their names to the book as saved souls. This should not be. We have preachers teaching that it is not the blood that Jesus shed on the cross that saves the sinner. I can assure these preachers that it is nothing but the blood of Jesus that can wash away your sins. Where are the true churches of the Living God? Why is it that only a few preachers will stand up to the government and call sin what it is "SIN". The majority of preachers will not even preach sin in the church anymore. They preach smooth words to itching ears so they can have their mega churches and their mega dollar income.
A preacher must preach a well rounded Gospel, not only just love. If the American people do not listen to some fire and brimstone once in a while as preachers give us the word of God then I'm afraid it will be fire and brimstone for the American people.

America's Failing Standards

 
So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:1
We will always have struggles with satanic powers until Jesus comes. That has been the case since Adam and Eve (not Steve but EVE) Sin does exist in this world and it offends the Lord and sin separates us from our God. The sins of this nation (America) have separated us from God. God will not and cannot ignore or excuse sin as though it did not matter. Do not think for one minute that God has overlooked the long list of sins that plague America. I’m here to tell you he has not and the payday is coming. As it was in the days of Noah so it is now. That is the very reason why there is always a great importance for the people of any nation to live a Godly life. To me that is normal. Living a normal (Godly) life in a family Structure, in our church, in the community, or our country. By doing this one thing we are enabling the society which we live in to also be normal (Godly) and that is by each and every person sharing Godly standards, values, morals, and ethics. There must to be a standard that we all live by. All of us can have our own personal liberties (outside of sin) but for any group of people no matter how small or how large there must be a standard to live by. Lifting Jesus higher should be at the top of that standard. Following the standards found in the Bible is a high priority for any nation that wants to survive. The use of drugs, people not working because they want to live off the government (in other words living off you, me, and others, babies born out of wedlock, the single parent family’s are not what the normal standard should be. It was not and still is not a Biblical standard. By saying that I’m not putting down the great job that some single parents are doing, raising their kids because of circumstances out of their control, but that is not the standard which God wanted and it was not the standard, for the most part, years ago in America. When a person looks into the history of America, especially the past generation, anyone can plainly see by what is happening. We as a whole have been redefining what sin is in this country, and things that were once called bad, are now called good. The things that was once called sin are no longer sin. If you are a person who studies the Bible you know that is the wrong direction and it puts this country in the bulls eye for God’s judgments. The conduct of some people that was previously branded as wrong in America, is now okay, and because of that we, as a whole, have quietly been raising the ‘normal’ level in certain areas where it was not normal or even right by any earlier standards.” What was sin in the past is sin now and always will be a sin. The plain fact is this, SIN WILL ALWAYS BE SIN! America, as a whole, is getting use to a lot of behavior that is not good for us, and not the normal (Godly) thing to do. The American people worry about a lot of other things that go on in this country such as the economy, Muslim terrorist, corrupt people in the White House and government at all levels and that goes without saying, but the core issues and standards that our country was founded on are bypassed, put aside by an ever increasing evil leadership and the people who voted them into office. It is time for all Christians to stand up for Jesus! If America is ever going to recover her formal glory we (The American People) must take positive steps and react to the obvious, that looks us all straight in our face every day. SIN and the decline of the civic order and moral standard that plague us as a nation. We must go back to maintaining standards of behavior that are righter in God’s eyes, rather than letting them slip away with a shrug of the shoulders or a turning of the back like we do not see it happening. It is time for all decent, law abiding Americans who love the Lord Jesus Christ to stand up and say enough is enough. We as Christians will be held accountable one day if we do not stand up for what is right. A short time ago a decision was made by non elected, unaccountable judges that sit on the Supreme Court. They imposed upon the American people a new definition of marriage (their definition), I’m talking about an institution (marriage between a man and a woman) that is absolutely essential to a healthy society in any country. That is what starts the family unit and the family unit is the core of our nation. How the family unit goes, so goes the nation. The Supreme Court has defined and re-wrote the meaning of marriage. If the God fearing people of this country fail to resist this and other attacks on the Godly principles that guide our lives, the shared moral standards that are found in God’s Word, the ones that have brought America so many blessings will vanish, out of the people’s grasp and understanding. The typical response of the left in this country is to say that anyone who opposes or is against a redefinition of marriage hates homosexuals. There is no truth in that statement. We just hate the sin of homosexuals, not the person. A person can respect and hold in high esteem the tradition of marriage as it has stood for thousands of years and not hate homosexuals. In a free society, homosexuals can, even though it is a sin, chose how they want to live without forcing the rest of us to change our Christian beliefs on the institution of marriage. I cannot leave out the murder of the millions of unborn babies in this country and the government giving their approval. I cannot leave out a man that lives in the White House who pokes fun at the scriptures in the Bible on national TV and cancels the National Day Of Prayer while quoting from the Muslim Karan at the same time and allowing thousands of Muslims to pray on the White House lawn. Let me leave you with this thought; “We might not never have to face the decision to die for our faith as the three Hebrew Children did in the Book of Daniel or for what we, as Christians, believe in, but every day, without fail, we have to make a decision to live in our faith. I ask each and everyone who reads this post make a decision to stand up for Christ and for the Christian standards that made this country great. God Bless.
