Bitter and Sweet Water Do Not Flow From The Same Fountain!

During the past few years, since I have retired and have just work part time, I have spent a great deal of my time reading Gods Word, blogging and being a Face Book Junky. I have come across a lot of different people, good and decent people and some of them amaze me. Some of the ones that amaze me the most are the ones that are called Christians! The ones who are called by His Holy name and say that they are His followers, but yet are they!

When you say you are a follower of Jesus The Christ and do not do as He says and teaches then what are you? I have said all that to say this: When ever I post a scripture on Face Book or a religious article on my Brush Arbor Manna web page people will say good things or send me nice messages or emails. But if I say something about Obama then some just do not like it and they will leave a nasty comment or unfriend me because I spoke the truth.

The truth is, bitter and sweet water do not come from the same fountain. If you are called by our Lord’s name (claiming to be a Christian) and say that you are a follower of Him then you must abide by His teachings and that is all of them and not just some of his teachings, as many do today! That is not to say everybody has to be perfect, because I fall short in that category, but I strive to be what Our Lord would want me to be. You must try your best to follow the Lord’s Teachings and strive to be what He would have you to be.

You can not come out of a church and worship service where the anointing is and then go into a voting both the next day and vote for a man that goes against just about everything Christianity stands for, but that is exactly what a lot of people did. They voted for a man (Obama) that has:

[1] Said the Bible is out dated and in a video  has made fun of it, when we know that the Scripture tell us : forever His word is settled in Heaven and the Word is a lamp unto our feet!
[2] Said that there is no better sound than when the Muslims are called to prayer. We as Christians are told that we are to have no other gods before us.
[3] Cancelled the national day of prayer and yet has allowed thousands of Muslims to pray, to their god on the lawn of the White House.
[4] Told the Muslim world that this nation is no longer a Christian nation. Those words are documented for the public to search out and see!
[5] Just about turned his back on Israel.  Even to the point that the leader of Israel was ushered into the White House by a back door while all Muslims are brought in the front door. That is also documented.

The list could go on and on, even with things that his wife has said, but I do not want to do this because I do not want some people to think that I hate the man because I do not! There was a lot of past presidents that I did not entirely agree with, but never have I seen a president like this.

When Jimmy Carter was president I thought for a while that we would be eating peanuts for the rest of out lives and peddling bicycles the rest of our lives and here we are again. I did not vote for Carter because of his skin color, but for what he stood for and where he would take our country. It is the same way with Obama. I did not vote for him because of his skin color, but for what he stood for and what he still stands for. But to some I am called a racist because of my views, and that has never, ever been the case with me.

A case in point is Allen West. He is not the same skin color that I am but what a man. He speaks the truth, hides nothing. and I would most certainly vote for him if he ever run for president.  This country is at a cross roads. Which way do you want it to go? We are near the end of time as we know it and yet nothing changes with some of the people that say they are followers of Christ.

A Called Out People

And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws [are] diverse from all people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it [is] not for the king's profit to suffer them. [Esther 3.8]

One of God's purposes in giving his law to Israel was to make them different from all other people. Haman recognized something different and unique in the Jews and he hated them for it. Under the new covenant god wants his people to be also seperate and set apart from all the ungodliness in this world we live in. He wants the church to be a holy and pure people! (What happen) Just like it was in Easters time the world still hates God's people, because we are different. The Christain will not and cannot except the behavior and the accepted livestyles and the practrices of most people in the world today. It is sin!  When we follow Jesus and his teaching we will think, talk, and act differently than those that do not follow the teachings of our lord.  We should not show ourselves as a odd or defiant people, but we are to live in such a way that others will be able to see the life, the hope, and the righteous standards of god in our lives. Through our walk with the Lord the unsaved might make the choice to serve Him.

Resurrection Power!

image0011

How comes this flower to bloom is so fair

With loveliest fragrance to fill the air

A short time ago, the seed lay dead,

The cold, wintry ground its desolate bed.

But now, behold, from the damp earth,

Without a sound to betray its birth,

This thing of beauty has blossomed and grown,

To possess a loveliness all its own.

And as we view it, standing there

With a majesty quite beyond compare,

A mighty conviction grips my heart:

This beautiful flower has a counterpart.

Our Saviour once suffered and died for sin,

Though no one so righteous as He had been

Ie seemed that the devil had sealed His doom,

As they buried His body in Joseph's tomb.

But what is this wonder that greets our eyes,

As the rays of the third morning's sun arise!

Behold! He is risen! The grave the grave could not hold

The Author of life, the anointed of God.

And now the dead who have trusted His Name,

Though sleeping in Jesus, will rise again,

With bodies more glorious than this flower,

Sown in weakness, but raised in power.

Being Loyal To The truth!

The price of accepting Jesus is sometimes very high. The man who accepted Jesus' gift [healing] was cast out of the temple. [John Chapter nine] He was cast out by the very ones that professed to be the chosen ones and the keepers of God's Word. What a great thing, the man was blind, but now he sees. That was the same with me, spiritually speaking, when I went [when I was younger] to a church that said they believed in the Messiah but denied His works, His saving power, His healing Power, the gifts of the Spirit, and the Anointing. They denied the power of a Holy God because they did not want it, they would lose control, just like the Pharisees.

The Attitude of the Pharisees through out the Gospels should teach all of us to be careful and to be loyal to the truth. Their religiousness was a mere outward show, just like it is in a lot of churches today. They had decided, already, in their heart that they did not want no part of Christ. They want the formalizm of going to church, but they want to keep The Holy Spirit locked in a back room.The Pharisees did not reconize Him, as the Son of God, because if they done that they would logically have to serve and honour Him. They, as well as a lot of churhes today, were and are blind to the real truth! They closed their eyes to the truth. We must ask our selfs this question: Are our eyes open? Are we searching and eargerly looking for the truth of God?

Churches that have a form of Godliness does not except Jesus The Christ for who He is. "THE GREAT I AM"  He was the one who, made heaven aand earth, He was the one who parted the Red sea, He is the one who's eye is on the sparrow, and it is He who watches over you!, It is He who died on the cross and spilled his blood so we might be not only saved from our sins, but also to be healed, delivered, and set free. Shame on any church that does not reconize, or does not have the power, to do the works that Christ did and His disciples did! If that same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, He will quicken your mortal bodies, You will have that power to carry on the works that Jesus did. With Jesus He is our everything! We can not just take a part. It is all or none.

Secondly, [I most likely get some flack here!]It is a shame when you ride past God's house and see a sign that reads Chicken dinners for sale, soup day, fashion show, bingo, yard sale in church basement. It is a disgrace to God. God's house is not a super market, a resturant, a entertainment center. It is a house of prayer. It is a place to get your soul fed! It is like a hospital who cares for the sick, the dying, the unsaved, and a place where you can go to hear the good news, the anointed word of God preached. The one thing that really upsets me about the Lord's House [Most of them] is the fact that they are becoming a place for social gatherings. If the people of the church want to have these other things then they should find some other place, not God's House! The sad part about this is if the people, who are called by His name, would spend the time fasting, praying, and seeking His will the needs of the church would be met. There would be no need for these things. Helping to feed the poor is one thing, money changers in the church is another thing.

I Am Praying For You

I have a Savior, He pleading in glory

A dear, loving Savior though earths friends be few:

And now He is watching in tenderness o’er me

And oh, that my Savior were your Savior too.

I have a Father; to me He has given

A hope for eternity, blessed and true;

An soon He will call me to meet Him in Heaven;

But, oh, that He’d let me bring you with me too!

I have a robe; tis resplendent in whiteness,

Awaiting in glory my wondering view;

Oh, when I receive it all shining in brightness;

Dear friend, could I see you receiving one, Too!

When Jesus has found you, tell others the story,

That my loving Savior is your Savior, too;

Then pray that your Savior may bring them to glory,

And prayer will be answered – twas answered for you!

Speak of that Savior, that Father in Heaven,

That harp, crown, and robe which are waiting for you,

That peace you possess, and that rest to be given,

Still praying that Jesus may save them with you.

Answer To A Friend's Letter

You may have already received some requests for a national "burn a Koran" day. Many Obama haters and Islam haters are joining together to do this publicly and videotape it. This to bring "peaceful" Muslims out of hiding in the US. We already know they're waiting for the "go" signal to do to us what they're doing in India, Egypt, and elsewhere. The plan is to beat them to the punch. I know you're an ex-policeman. What is your opinion?

The above is a letter from a Friend who loves this country! She worries, as we all do about America. I wanted to share it and my reply. Because I believe all true Americans, that have a love for Jesus Christ in their heart and for our country need to hear this. So the ones that call me crazy, then to you I'm crazy, you can say so! My love for the Lord has caused me to lose many a friend and have many people call me crazy. To those who think I'm right then say so, but this is really what is on my heart and my friends letter has woke me up to write and post this on Face book and my blogs.

If you demonstrate in the streets and burn Korans then you are just like them. What makes you any different? If we hate the Muslim people we are no different from them. We are not to hate the people but we are to expose that false religion and what it stands for. Their religion is one of hate. Ours is one of “LOVE and HOPE” They are taught from a early age to hate America [The Great Satan], Israel [The Little Satan], Christian, Jews, and any body else that does not want or except their religion. They do not care what you say, what you do, or what happens to them because they believe they are in Allah's will and doing what he wants and they are doing just that. The fiddle plays while Rome burns! Get a copy of the Koran and read it for yourself. Most Muslim people are deceived, by their leaders, just like we are deceived by Obama and some other leaders in our country.

Millions of Americans need to ascend on the White House and Washington, DC and say enough is enough. Not that it would do any good! Most Americans are brain washed, [without God or His son] and the rest [ including many a luke warm Christian] just think it will never happen here. [WRONG] At the first sign of violence or demonstrating against this country or our way of life a firm hand needs to stop it. That firm hand is that of God! It will not come from Obama or Washington! It will come from Christian people who know how to move the hand of God! We can do more on our knees in prayer than we can burning Korans. Because with Obama, [or any other person like him] in charge that will never happen, because he is with them, you know that. He is a Muslim! He said he is not, but his actions are louder than his words. Here in this country, it will come to past, where, the Christian people and the true American people will rise up and we are going to see blood shed in our streets. Yes that is the truth. It is coming and give it a year or so and we will see it. You need to have a gun, plenty of ammo for it, plenty of food, God's Word, and stuff to keep you going because shorty anything can and will happen in this country. I am not advocating armed violence, nor do I want to see it, but I believe in being prepared. I believe there is coming a time that all true Americans will have to stand up and be counted. There is a time to pray, a time to stand firm, THERE IS A TIME FOR EVERYTHING!

I want to share a dream my brother had about two years ago with you: [ In this dream he saw me in the woods, by my house, digging a whole in the ground, I was crying as I put my Bibles into a plastic bag to bury them.] I think that this will come to pass and very soon. If we had leaders in our government, starting with Obama, who would do something we would stand a better chance of survival. But when a nation's leaders turns their back on God, as most of ours have done, then you have no help, but God's help. Our help comes from the Lord!

The Muslims already control most of the world's oil supply supply, which in turns means they control just about everything, including our food supply! [I personally think that they also control the White House and the present occupant] This did not happen over night. It happen over a period of time while most Americans have ignored what was happening or just do not realize what is happening. What is happening in the middle east just did not happen over night. When you turn your back on God, anything can happen.

I'm not surprised about anything that is happening in this world ,today, because it is in the Book. As I read and study God's Word it is all there for you to see. The enemy is at work. The anti-Christ is at work. It is no great revelation, because the warning was there all the time in the Book of Revelation and other books of the Bible, but people did not want to hear or read what was there. I wonder what they think now? They still have no clue.

A country or it's people cannot go against God's word and expect nothing to happen. All through the Bible when Israel turned there back on God destruction came. It was only when they turned back to God did God heal their land. Do you want your country back? Then turn toward God and cry out. As for me I look Heavenly ward and say: Come Lord Jesus! Because that is what I want. To be in that heavenly home with my Lord, where there will be no more tears, no more wars, no more hunger, just peace and joy!

What Happen To The old Paths?

Thus saith Jehovah, Stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way; and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls: but they said, We will not walk [therein]. (Jeremiah 6:16) American Standard Version 1901

Just like the Christians today Jeremiah lived in a very difficult time. As we read the Book of Jeremiah, we can see, clearly, that Judah had turned its back on God and God's judgment was coming, God was tired of Judah's constant faithlessness, and would no longer protect the land of His people  ( Ezekiel 5:11-17, 11:22-23). The judgment of God was at hand for them. Just like in that day it is the same today in America, the judgment of God is at hand. America has turned her back on the God of their forefathers!

Just like the people, on that day, it is the same today, people just paid no attention. The people in Jeremiah's time did not seek out the ways of their leaders of the past. Godly leaders such as Moses, Joshua, David, Hezekiah, or Josiah. They continued in their sins and listened to false prophets declaring peace and safety (Jeremiah 6:13-15). We have the same today in America. We have preachers that no longer preach about the atoning blood of our saviour, instead, it is a prosperity message, a message of appeasement for the homosexuals, and an anything goes message because God is Love. We even now have preachers that stand behind the sacred desk and say that Jesus is not the only way. God forbid! The twelve step program is not the way, Mohamed is not the way, Buddha is not the way, there is only one way and that is Jesus!
The nation of Judah survived the Assyrian attack, and they believed that they would pull through the Babylonian attack. But that did not happen, because within just a period of time they would all be dead or exiled to Babylon. What a disaster! If the people of Judah had only repented, Jerusalem would have been, just like Nineveh and they would have been spared by God's mercy but, they continued in their own paths to their own downfall and destruction.  America has survived a lot of attacks also. The times may be different today, but the Lord is not. His ways are not and never will be different or outdated. Some people think this way: "old" answers do not answer the “ new” questions of our world or this age,  "new and improved" has replaced  "stable and trusted." We no longer rely on past standards that were past down to us. Should we as Christians just accept this way of thinking? God forbid, NO!
Just in a few short decades, this nation has gone from being a Godly nation to a reprobate nation that is in the dead aim of God's judgment. No longer is God in our schools and in our classrooms. No longer is the Holy Bible found on the teacher's desk, no longer is there prayer or Bible reading in our schools. No longer is God in our courtrooms, in our government buildings, in our congress, or in the homes of most people. No longer do we have a leader of this country that will get down on his knees and call on God, instead we have a leader that says we are no longer a Christian nation, We have a leader that has said some of the Bible is outdated. I could go on and on but You get the jest of what I'm saying.
The church world today needs to listen and take heed to the words of the prophets, apostles, and teachers from old that are found in the Bible. The LORD pleaded for Israel to return to the old paths, just like He is pleading for America to return to the old paths, which were and still are good, and just as those old paths gave rest for their souls in those days it will give rest for our souls in today's world! The Bible plainly tells us that Jesus The Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and consequently the church world should not be led away. by  "strange" and  "diverse" teachings. Paul warns and instructs the Galatians that anyone who preaches a Gospel different from the one which he preached to them was accursed  (Galatians 1:6-9). Even Jude wrote to encourage and further the Christians of his day to contend earnestly for the faith that was delivered  "once for all" to the saints  (Jude 1:3) What does that tell us?
  Please let me make this point: Just because something is new, it is not always wrong, but whatever is  "new" should not diminish or take away the practice of the past faith, the faith of our forefathers in the church. Modern day Christians must keep and share the same faith and practice that faith just like the first century Christians did. Let us strive, then, to seek the old paths and remain within them, so that we may obtain the Promised Land and not find ourselves separated from God!
