The Judge is Coming!

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. [Revelation 19:11]
Do you really believe that Jesus is returning soon?  The fact of the matter He is coming back. Soon and very soon we are going to see the King.  He’s coming back to judge this world and no one will escape His wrath except those whose sins are forgiven through living faith in His atoning sacrifice. Some will go to everlasting life and others to everlasting punishment. There is a choice to be made. The world, in its ever  increasing sinful ways, is rejecting God's Son, and, it is like they are daring God to bring His righteous judgment to this world that we live in. These people will be in for a big surprise soon! The God of all creation is real and He is a powerful Sovereign King whose judgments are at hand, they are about to happen and His judgments are one hundred percent righteous. It is time for all to choose this day who they will serve!

Because of sin, everyone of us are all born and then destined to die.  By revealing His judgment as a warning, God shows His mercy to those who alive on this earth, that we all may seek the eternal safety He offers. Jesus' sacrificial death provides eternal life for all who are destined to die from sin {that is, all that will come to Him in faith}.

Jesus The Christ is the true, righteous, and the Judge of us all. We must  be found, to be faithful in Him when He judges us on that last day? If we are clothed in His righteousness, that of the Lord Jesus , we will escape His judgment for sin. Trust in Him completely and know He is not only a just judge, but a "merciful, gracious, longsuffering" God who "abounds in goodness and truth". [Exodus 34:6] With judgment looming ever so close let us all take stock of our lives and be ready because our King is coming soon!

I Will Spue Thee Out of My Mouth

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” {Revelations 3: 14-16}

During this past year, many preachers in some Christian churches across the United States began preaching  sermons at bringing about a reconciliation between Muslims and Christians. These misguided preachers are trying to start a new relationship between the Holy Bible and the Koran they call “Chrislam.” They are saying that because the Koran talks about Jesus then there is a common ground with Christianity. To prove their point, they are placing Korans along side the Holy Bible in their pews. And they are teaching that you can be a follower of Christ without necessarily believing that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who died for our sins offering the gift of eternal salvation. How deceived they are! As we all know Jesus is the Savior or the world. Satan is at work in these churches!

The Chrislam movement gained ground when Rick Warren made a reference to Isa, which is the Muslim name for Jesus in his prayer at the inauguration of President Barack ObamaJesus in the Koran is not the only-begotten Son of God nor the Messiah. Jesus was viewed as a prophet who was appointed by Allah to prepare mankind for the coming of Mohammad. The Koran states in Sura 5:17:
“In blasphemy indeed are those that say that God is Christ the son of Mary. Say: “Who then hath the least power against God, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother, and all every-one that is on the earth? For to God belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth what He pleaseth. For God hath power over all things.”
The Koran has many verses that command the followers of Allah to kill Christians and Jews if they do not convert to Islam. There is absolutely no common ground between the Holy Scriptures and the Koran. Two can not walk together unless they agree. These Chrislam preachers are deceiving the people. There is instruction by the Holy Scriptures to not fellowship with those who do not recognize the truth in this doctrine. Second John 9-11 says this:
“Whoseover transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”
This is the central doctrine and theme of Christianity through out the Bible.. There is instruction by the Holy Scriptures to not fellowship with those who do not recognize the truth in this doctrine. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” {John 14:6} "There comes a time when the desire to know the truth about some churches became stronger than the desire to believe that some churches was true."  Some Christians are going to give themselves  to Satan  by prostrating themselves before their new (future) masters, the Muslims. Some may do it and be damned, but the true believers of our Lord will never bow or seek another way to heaven because Jesus is the only way!

Knowing The Great Shepherd

He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young. [Isaiah 40:11]
If you live in the country, like I do, you will often see different herds of animals roaming the countryside and crossing the road. When you drive in the country it, sometimes, often involves stopping to allow a herd of  of animals to cross the road. You may once in a while see a dead animal from the heard on the side of the road, But you will not see sheep killed or laying dead, on the side of the road. I have never seen it in all the years that I’ve lived in the country. Then I thought about it. You do not see sheep dead on the side of the road and you never have to stop your car suddenly for them because, for the most part, sheep don’t roam without a shepherd! They listen to the Shepherd and know his voice. There is a close relationship with the shepherd and his sheep. The Lord has that same loving care for His sheep. We are the sheep of His pasture. The Lord's sheep know his voice and He knows them. What a great and comforting thought! We are His!

If you are a old country boy like me you know the most defenseless time for animals is at night when they go to sleep. That is when all the wolves come out and prey. The sheepfold is where the sheep are gathered by the shepherd each night; In the middle east a compound is made, with rocks, stones, or bricks, high enough to keep out predators{something that naturally preys on others} This compound or enclosure is without a door. The shepherd of that flock lays by the door to protect his sheep. Jesus tells us that He is the “door of the sheep”  because, as a Good Shepherd, He lies where a door would be so that nothing could go in or out, without passing by the Shepherd!
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in , he shall be saved , and shall go in and out , and find pasture. A thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life -- life in all its fullness. [ John 10: 7,8,9,10] NASB

As evil seems to be coming from every corner, these days, and rearing its ugly head, and a much greater darkness seems to be looming on the horizon, we, as Christians, need sit down and to truly realize the powerful and complete protection that our Good Shepherd {Our Lord Jesus Christ} provides. Nothing can get to us unless it goes through Him! What a great protector! What a Great Shepherd! When the Lord laid down His life for us He also gave us a wall of protection and safety which can not be broken or done away with.

All Christians know the dark days we are, and will, be facing. {Because it will get worse as that day gets near} It is coming on us fast. Jesus gives us safety from all alarm as long as we are in the fold! We absolutely do not have to worry or walk in fear. He promises never to leave nor forsake us till the end of the world. He gave us the security that He is in and with us through every trial or danger. We need never doubt in THE GREAT SHEPHERD. We need only to trust Him. Trust and obey, for there is no other way!

What Then Sayest Thou?

And the scribes and the Pharisees bring a woman taken in adultery; and having set her in the midst, they say unto him, Teacher, this woman hath been taken in adultery, in the very act. Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such: what then sayest thou of her? [John 8: 3-5] NASB
As Jesus was teaching in the temple he was stopped by the Scribes and Pharisees. If you stop and think about that statement you will probably realize the same thing as I did: That is what formal religion does! It interrupts the real message and power of The Word of God.  These Scribes and Pharisees brought to Jesus a women taken in the very act of adultery. Their thought was to get Jesus to say the wrong thing so in his answer so they could trap Him. The people would be down on Him. What ever decision He made would put him in a bad position, or so the scribes and Pharisees thought. They were just like the church word is today. They, as well as most of the church today, never really seem to get it, as to who Jesus really was, because Jesus was and is so far ahead of formal religion in every way. The Bible gives very little doubt about the guilt of the women who was taken in adultery. That is the way The church of that day saw it (The Scribes and The Pharisees) and it is still the same today. But how did the Lord see it? Was He thinking this:
Here stands this small, trembling women, dying in her shame for what she has done, thinking she is going to be stoned any minute, but yet were is the man that was caught with her? Why did they not bring him? The law of Moses said they were both to be stoned, so where is the man?
The crowd was waiting for the Lord's answer and the Scribes and Pharisees (the church) was demanding an answer from him "What then sayest thou?"  Jesus stooped and wrote in the dust of the temple. Oh how I was with all my heart I knew what He had written! Jesus did not excuse or deny this women's guilt, or the plain fact that the law condemned her to death. But what did He say? You who are with out sin cast the first stone. Some Bible scholars say that what Jesus was really saying was this: "You without her sin cast the first stone."  How could people  who themselves were breaking the same law stone someone else for the same sin? Is it not the same with most of the church world today? Always casting stones, always forgetting the beam in their eyes while trying to get the mote out of another persons eye. "Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more!"  That was the greatest words the woman ever heard.

Think about this, Jesus justified his decision about the women the same way He does for us and for all who ever believed in Him. He went to the cross and paid a debt that He did not owe, paying a price that the woman   should have paid and he has paid that debt for us who believe! The Lord did not condemn this woman, but rather said the greatest words that the woman ever heard.!

It seems, perhaps, that Jesus Christ wasn't the only one who was "set up" that day. While they used the woman caught in adultery as the means to try to entrap Him through His answer, the woman herself may have been partly entrapped - the man that she was "taken in adultery, in the very act" with (by definition, if she was "caught in the act," the man had to have been caught too) was not brought to Him with her. Whoever he was, he was just as guilty and just as subject to "the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death" (Leviticus 20:10 KJV) that the scribes and Pharisees quoted in condemning the woman. Letting him go was more hypocrisy on the part of the themselves-adulterous scribes and Pharisees.

What Are Our Rights: Or What Are Our Choices?

Don't like gay marriages? Don't get one.. Don't like cigarettes? Don't smoke them.. Don't like abortions? Don't get one.. Don't like sex? Don't have it.. Don't like drugs? Don't do them.. Don't like porn? Don't watch it.. Don't like alcohol? Don't drink it.. Don't like guns? Don't buy one.. Don't like your rights taken away??? Then don't try to take away someone else's.
The above was posted on my Face Book Wall by a friend and below is my answer to the post.
I do not like or think that it is right for two people of the same sex to get married. But homosexuals have rights. The same basic rights as everybody else, no more and no less. The problem is they want more rights. Special laws to protect them and other laws that do not even make sense. They even want their own Bible. Most Christians, like myself do not hate or dislike the homosexual person, it is the sin that we hate. We are to love the person but hate the sin. It is wrong and people need to hear it. If you believe in what the Bible says, then it is wrong, very wrong, because the Bible tells us so. If a person want to be a homosexual then they can face God's judgement, but in the mean time, do not expect no more rights than anybody else has. Homosexuals  are not special because of their life style. The same rule of law should be applied to everybody equally. And the last time that I checked they had the same rights as other Americans!
People also have a right to smoke cigarettes, but they do not have the right to injure other peoples health when they do it. I have people who are my friends and they will not smoke around me because of my breathing. There are people all over this country the same way that I am. I do my best to not go to places where I know there is a lot of cigarette smoke and people who smoke should be just as courteous. We all have choices, But it is their right to smoke. They should choose to smoke where they do not bother other people who have health problems or do not like it because as Americans they have rights also and we all have choices.
What is there not to like about sex?  God ordained it Himself! The problem is that sex should be between a man and a women and then only if they are married. There again if  a person is having sex outside of marriage they have their rights! I call it choices. To live by God's Standards or to live in a live of sin. Yes  we have rights, but there is also a payday coming.
Drugs are one of the biggest causes that is destroying this country. Thousands of over doses and deaths a year. Thousands of murders a year, Thousands of robberies and assaults a year and most all of them drug related. Millions of dollars a year are coming across our borders a year in drugs and the violence with it. Did you ever stop to think of how much money in taxes go to preventing the drug problem and the treatment of drug addicts that could be going for something else?  When it comes to drugs the only rights we have is to stop it so that our children and their children will not be hooked on it!
Being a police officer for many years I can tell you this about porn. It is deadly! Porn has ruined and destroyed many of home. It breeds and promotes desires that leads to Adultery, rape, murder, and many other things that are unnatural or against the law. Just one example is Ted Bundy. He killed over 20 women and that is only the ones we know about. He said and also claimed porn was the contributing factor that got him started and so it was with a lot of other serial killers! So porn lookers and the ones that are hooked on it, have their rights, but what about the rights of millions who have been raped, assaulted, and murdered by those that are hooked on porn?
It is any body's right to drink alcohol as long as it does not violate the rights of others. The sad fact it does and that is a fact! When I was a police officer I seem more injuries and deaths from alcohol than I ever want to see again in my life time. My brother was hit by a drunk driver and now is maimed for the rest of his life. There is not a day goes by that he is not in pain. So please tell me what his rights are. That drunk driver had a right to drink, but he also had a choice not to drive.
I own many guns and it is my right to own them. But I have a friend that does not like guns and that is his right. When he comes to my house I do not show him my guns or try to talk him into liking them. That is my choice!
Yes we, as Americans, have rights and these rights are the same for all people. Not some rights for this group and other rights for another
group. This nation is a Republic, in other words a nation of laws, and those laws are the same for all people. Our rights as Americans are governed by those laws. But on the other side of the coin we have choices. We can choose to do right, with our liberty and rights and bring America back to the greatness that she once was or we can take our rights far beyond what they were attended to be and destroy this country! And one last thought: None of this wouldl never happen if God is in our choices!

Why Do The Heathen Rage?

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed . [Psalms 2: 1-2]

When Peter and John had gone up to the Temple to pray in Acts chapter 3, they saw a man who was lame from birth. They had compassion on him and were moved to heal him in the name of Jesus. Right away {Immediately} the religious leaders forcibly grabbed both of them [Acts 4:3] and put them in prison. The following day, with boldness, Peter and John declared this miracle {the healing of the lamb man} was done in the name of  Jesus The Christ. I love what the "religious" leaders said next --- "they perceived that they were unlearned men and they marveled at their boldness!" Why were they bold? They had been with Jesus, the great I AM, and the leaders took note of that! Today when we stand bold for Christ people will notice it!

It is no surprise that the world rages, and are so against the Messiah. Psalms 2 declares and says it very clearly. Every year there are thousands of believers suffering and dying for their faith, for the most part because the leaders and the rulers of the earth rage and go against the Lord and His anointed. As followers of the Lord we should expect this and be prepared for it when it comes. This very thing is happening all over the world and as we see Islam getting stronger in this country we will begin to see the same thing.

The examples, in the Bible, of Peter and John, are there to inspire and encourage us. The same as it is with every other true Christian martyr who has suffered and died in the service of the Lord. When the time of persecution comes for us, we too can be bold as Peter and John. We can be bold and strong as a lion. And this boldness is not merely human bravery, but an unction from the Holy Spirit. It is not by power or might, but it is by the Holy Spirit. Silver and gold we may not have, but such as we have we can, in the name of Jesus, give it to the world.  So, though the rulers of the earth will rage, our simple faith and Holy Spirit boldness will testify that we too have been with Jesus!

The Power of the tongue

Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men,which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be . Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. [James 3: 9-12]

Remember Balak, King of Moab, and how he dreaded Israel because of their victory over the Amorites. He sent for Balaam, son of Beor, to curse Israel. Balaam was well-known throughout the East as a soothsayer whose curse was to be feared. Back then, the whole world believed in the power of blessings and curses. The Bible also speaks of the tremendous power of the tongue to bring either life or death. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21) This is why the patriarchal blessing was so significant in Biblical Days, and why, even today, we must be careful to speak blessing and not cursing over our loved ones, especially our children because our words are so powerful!
When the Israelites complained in the wilderness and said (speaking their fears rather than faith)
that surely they were going to die in the wilderness, God basically said, “Okay, you’ll have what
you have said.” Just think on this for a minute. We can thank God for all the negative things He does not bring upon us that we speak out of our mouths in times of fear, anger or distress. It was through His words that God spoke the world into existence. Do you know that we also have creative power in our words, because we have been created in the image of God.
Because of this we, as Christians, must learn, as we are told in the Scriptures, to guard our mouths, praying that the Holy Spirit help us that we may speak forth life and blessings over our own lives and the lives of others.
As Believers in Jesus we are a people who God has blessed and no man can reverse it. “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22) Some worldly blessings can bring with them trouble and sorrow, God’s blessings are not like that. When the Lord blesses us, no man can turn it into  sorrow. If God has blessed us, then we are blessed.
