In Today's Word What Are You Building?

In a day of violence and God's impending wrath, what should a man of God be Building? Noah built an ark. In Noah's day, the earth was filled with violence and sin. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.  And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh has come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth." We have surpassed the violence of Noah's day and God is going to shorten the days and pour out His wrath.

Compare the preaching and the obedience of Noah with what we see today. Government-approved homosexuality, the murdering of unborn babies in their mother's womb, transgenders, calling good evil and evil good, bitter is now sweet and sweet is now bitter. The sad part in all this is there is no sense of urgency in the houses of worship or among God's people about Christ's coming or His judgment on sin.  The day of Our Lord's return is fast approaching! Are we going to be like the five foolish virgins or are we going to have our lamps trimmed?
