LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED!

Image result for let not your heart be troubledLet not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (John 14:1-2)
A person may be poor; they may live in what they or someone else call a shack. Some may live in card broad boxes, and others may wonder why it should be thus all the day long, but there is one thing for sure for all of you that are saved you will one day live close to the throne of God. Do not despair, because there is hope beyond tomorrow. There will be a time when there will be no more tears, no more pain, no more burdens to bear, no more sorrow, no more trips to the graveyard. What a day that will be when our Jesus we shall see.

If you read some other literal translations that are on the market today they would read do not let your heart shudder or tremble, [From fear]. Well, this is indeed a hard command because these days we have so much to shudder or tremble about. It is very easy for a person to be troubled in these unsettling times. Even much more as that day approaches. Think about it. We are troubled by the economy and how it is going to affect us. There are so many people out of a job these days, even in your own church congregation. The cost of everything is going up every day and it makes parents who do not have any source of income wonder how they can make ends meet. People on retirement worry about their social security and will it be there the next time. Worrying will go from one thing to the other. It is natural for man to worry about things that are out of his control, but worrying will get you no place in this life. There is only one way and that is to trust and obey, for there is no other way.

What is trust? Trust is knowing, with all your heart that God will answer your prayer. Trust is the conviction, the assurance, and the certainly that God will indeed work in all things that matter in the lives of His people for their good.

So let me leave you with this thought when you are worried, scared, or uneasy thoughts come your way, remind yourself of  what Jesus said; let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Even when things appear the worse have faith because you are a child of God.
