Judgement is Turned Backwards

And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. (Isaiah 59:14-15
As a consequence, every facet of the person, and even of the entirety of a nation, suffers a inversion. Things are upside down, and consequently do not, and in fact can not work right. The phase "Judgement is turned away backward" refers to Righteousness being out, while unrighteousness is in. (From Jimmy Swaggart Commentary)
Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it. (Jeremiah 5:1)
Other than Jeremiah's little flock there seemed to be no one in Jerusalem, be they priest or prophet, who "executed judgement ans sought the truth. Jerusalem was that far gone, and yet very few would have even remotely considered such. Other than Jeremiah and his little flock there was not a single man who sought the ways of the Lord. What an indictment!
The same as it was with Israel then it is the same with the United States now. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ that I'm His Child.
