Will Israel Be Destroyed: The Main Reason To Care

Will Israel ever be overrun and destroyed? Will the Muslims that are so bent on Israels destruction finally have their way? Will Egypt, the PLO, Lebanon, Syria, or others like Iran possess the land. Most people know that Israel was recognized as a nation in 1948, 63 years ago, after being without a homeland, a place to call there own for 1900 years! Now they have a place to call their own.
And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD;Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone , and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: And I will make them one nation..............     {Ezekiel 37:21,22} KJV
We all know that many that we are in the very last days of God's grace and we also know that just about all Bible prophecy has come to past and been fulfilled. Not much left to be fulfilled and after all these signs have come to pass, Israel is still surviving, continuing in battle and is in the hot spot of the world. But will she ever be defeated? All the Muslims and other nations {including many here in the United States} have come against her to defeat that tiny nation. Israel will never be defeated. To give you an example in 1967 during the six day war Israel's six million people took on and fought fifty five million Arabs and Israel won with a very low loss of life. Ever since then there has been many relentless attacks on that tiny nation, yet it is never defeated. Will there ever be a ever lasting and true peace in the middle east. Will Israel ever know peace?

If you read your Bible and study it you will see in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 it talks about an attack on Israel that is yet to come. It will be an attack that will be stronger and use more soldiers than on any other attack on Israel's history as a nation since 1948. There is little doubt among most Bible scholars that Russia and her allies {the Muslims of the world} will gather together and attack Israel. To the people who does not follow and study the scriptures, you might ask this question: "How can Israel fight, much less win against such a force such as this?" The answer is once again found in the word of God. The Word of God came to the prophet Ezekiel  and he prophesied thousands of years ago about this:
 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel,saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken , Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;  {Ezekiel 38:18} KJV}
We can also read in {Ezekiel 39:11-15} that with God's help the nation of Israel will win such a great victory that it will take seven months to bury the dead of Gog's army. People may ask the question: "Why is God going to intervene and help the nation of Israel in that time of war and the invasion of their country because Israel is a nation of people that refuses to except Jesus Christ as their Savior. There is a very simple answer to that;
So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.{Ezekiel 39:22}

When will this all come about? When will Israel face the Gog of the north? Here is the answer: It shall be in the latter days  {Ezekiel 38:16}  The most important reason for us, as Christians, to know and care about is how close Israel is to war with a super power, for us to know that the end is very near and for us to realize how near we are to the return of our Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.  Therefore comfort one another with these words. {1 Thessalonians 4:16-18}
The thought and intent of this article is to remind Christians to keep their eye on Israel for there will be your sign as to how near the end is!
