Being Loyal To The truth!

The price of accepting Jesus is sometimes very high. The man who accepted Jesus' gift [healing] was cast out of the temple. [John Chapter nine] He was cast out by the very ones that professed to be the chosen ones and the keepers of God's Word. What a great thing, the man was blind, but now he sees. That was the same with me, spiritually speaking, when I went [when I was younger] to a church that said they believed in the Messiah but denied His works, His saving power, His healing Power, the gifts of the Spirit, and the Anointing. They denied the power of a Holy God because they did not want it, they would lose control, just like the Pharisees.

The Attitude of the Pharisees through out the Gospels should teach all of us to be careful and to be loyal to the truth. Their religiousness was a mere outward show, just like it is in a lot of churches today. They had decided, already, in their heart that they did not want no part of Christ. They want the formalizm of going to church, but they want to keep The Holy Spirit locked in a back room.The Pharisees did not reconize Him, as the Son of God, because if they done that they would logically have to serve and honour Him. They, as well as a lot of churhes today, were and are blind to the real truth! They closed their eyes to the truth. We must ask our selfs this question: Are our eyes open? Are we searching and eargerly looking for the truth of God?

Churches that have a form of Godliness does not except Jesus The Christ for who He is. "THE GREAT I AM"  He was the one who, made heaven aand earth, He was the one who parted the Red sea, He is the one who's eye is on the sparrow, and it is He who watches over you!, It is He who died on the cross and spilled his blood so we might be not only saved from our sins, but also to be healed, delivered, and set free. Shame on any church that does not reconize, or does not have the power, to do the works that Christ did and His disciples did! If that same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, He will quicken your mortal bodies, You will have that power to carry on the works that Jesus did. With Jesus He is our everything! We can not just take a part. It is all or none.

Secondly, [I most likely get some flack here!]It is a shame when you ride past God's house and see a sign that reads Chicken dinners for sale, soup day, fashion show, bingo, yard sale in church basement. It is a disgrace to God. God's house is not a super market, a resturant, a entertainment center. It is a house of prayer. It is a place to get your soul fed! It is like a hospital who cares for the sick, the dying, the unsaved, and a place where you can go to hear the good news, the anointed word of God preached. The one thing that really upsets me about the Lord's House [Most of them] is the fact that they are becoming a place for social gatherings. If the people of the church want to have these other things then they should find some other place, not God's House! The sad part about this is if the people, who are called by His name, would spend the time fasting, praying, and seeking His will the needs of the church would be met. There would be no need for these things. Helping to feed the poor is one thing, money changers in the church is another thing.

I Am Praying For You

I have a Savior, He pleading in glory

A dear, loving Savior though earths friends be few:

And now He is watching in tenderness o’er me

And oh, that my Savior were your Savior too.

I have a Father; to me He has given

A hope for eternity, blessed and true;

An soon He will call me to meet Him in Heaven;

But, oh, that He’d let me bring you with me too!

I have a robe; tis resplendent in whiteness,

Awaiting in glory my wondering view;

Oh, when I receive it all shining in brightness;

Dear friend, could I see you receiving one, Too!

When Jesus has found you, tell others the story,

That my loving Savior is your Savior, too;

Then pray that your Savior may bring them to glory,

And prayer will be answered – twas answered for you!

Speak of that Savior, that Father in Heaven,

That harp, crown, and robe which are waiting for you,

That peace you possess, and that rest to be given,

Still praying that Jesus may save them with you.
