THE LORD SAID: "PUT YOUR TRUST IN ME"

"When your terror comes like a storm and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you. Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord, They would have none of my counsel and despised my every rebuke. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled to the full with their own fancies. For the turning away of the simple will slay them and the complacency of fools will destroy them; but whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil." {Proverbs 1:27-33}

Over the past ten or more years this country has been face with the evils of terrorism, Abortion, The evils of the sin of homosexuals, and the country turning their back on God. It is an evil that as Christians we must all face. Where do we turn in the face of these evils? Is it to our government in Washington, To the United Nations, Or to our God? This is a question that we must all ask our self. Most people want that reassurance from their government leaders which would be proper if they were Godly Men and women. These are the very same leaders that do everything, there is, to insult our God. They approve of all kinds of immorality such as abortions, homosexuality as being okay, not allowing God in schools, or our court rooms, and there are plenty of other things on the list. They do these things in the name of being politically correct when they should be Biblically correct. We as a nation do not need to be politically correct. These same politicians in the time of national crisis will invoke the name of God and then join in with others as they sing "God Bless America" My question to the reader is this: How can God bless a Nation that has turn their back on Him and do not invoke his name unless they need help? A nation who only needs God when there is a Crisis to be dealt with is or will soon be under judgment from God. This nation must truly repent as did that sinful nation of Nineveh. As it stands now this nation is very fast heading down the road that Sodom took before it was destroyed. I believe that the only thing that is holding back God's judgment on this nation is Christian praying men and women that know how to touch God in prayer.
With the many gods and different religions that are in our country now who does this nation call on? That is a righteous question. Some call on Buddha, Some of Allah, some call on other gods, and some call on no one. But as true blood washed Christians we know who to call on, for there is only one God and him we are to serve. Some of you might say that I'm wrong but if you are a Bible reader I want to ask you this question: What happen to Israel when she allowed other false gods and practices against Gods laws within her boarders? There was a great decline in their prosperity, power, and their greatness. Check it out for yourself. God's word is true and if this country would only lived by that great Book and honor God we would have prosperity and security again, but most of our leaders minds are seared and they will never change unless God intervenes. How sad that a great country, like ours, that was foundered on the principles found in the Bible, has just about turned its back on God.
As a nation, we are set on a course based on humanist values and a blend of religious expressions that may occasionally sound Christian like but are designed to please everyone. I believe we could call this being politically correct. As a nation, we must trust God's solutions, who established this great nation, rather than the government. And as a nation, we stand at the entrance of a new world government who is resolved to supervise and check up on and regulate our lives and everything that we do. They will use every crisis to win the people of this country's consent for policies and laws that are certain to destroy the freedoms that made America unequaled and one of a kind. Just stop and think
As Christians we are called to pray for our leaders, and so we should. But God doesn't promise to bless a nation that compromises truth, rejects His outline of acceptable conduct, and profanes His name. He will hardly strengthen a nation that teaches it's young to persist in a mixture of promiscuity and licentiousness, ridicules His Word and are happy with "other gods." He cannot be pleased with a land that that condones the mass murder of unborn babies and the worldwide export of blunt and to the point pornography. Instead, He warns us like He did Israel in Bible days;
"Behold I will bring a nation against you from afar, O house of Israel,' says the Lord.'It is an ancient nation, A nation whose language you do not know, Nor can you understand what they say. They are all mighty men, and they shall eat up your harvest and your bread, which your sons and daughters should eat." {Jeremiah 5:15-17}. "For behold, the Lord comes... to punish the inhabitants of the earth for the earth for their iniquity." {Isaiah 26:21} In closing read what The Apostle Paul said:
Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play .Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.{1 Cor. 10: 1-13}
